In terms of freight ships, I think fire retardant foam is a lot more tech friendly than water. Remember, he has to attend to fires that may occur near sensitive machinery that water could damage irreparably.

Teleporter rush is viable. It's not worth finding every single item in the stage. My general rule of thumb is no more than 5 minutes on each stage on the first loop. Afterward I do spend a little more time finding items if I can.

As the other user pointed out, this makes shaped glasses gamebreaking OP if you stack it enough.

With 2hp, you would instantly get the 1shot protection when you take damage, then if you heal before a second shot hits you, you can get it again.

Time to go stack 20 glass and test this.

On the snow map there is a special shrine which costs 1 lunar coin to use. It turns all of your items into a random item of its same glass (i.e. all your whites into fungus, all your greens into whips, all your reds into tesla and all your blues into shaped glass).

So it will in most cases ruin your run and get you killed instantly.

But in some cases it gives you 100 stickies and then you laugh and murder everything.

I see your point. that being said I still think a water based attack should be considered. No one else has a water attack so it'd be just one more thing to help distinguish his character.

First off, the carry ability is probably not going to work out well at all. It would likely be strange to implement having one character carry another in any way shape or form, and how would it affect bosses? It just isn't feasible as an ability.

I like the haligan bar knocking enemies away, but it shouldn't be his main attack. as a melee class you want your enemies close so you can deal damage to them. knocking them back is fine for crowd control when things are getting a bit spicy, but not on the main attack. Maybe swap the R and M1, and have the axe damage be 150% and the halligan do 400% and knockback. makes more sense that way IMO

M2 is good overall. Would need to be a wide cone to hit as many enemies as possible. Lowering enemy armor for a short duration sounds doable and would work well with a melee like this. should be moved to shift though, as it fits better there in terms of an ability.

Lacking a ranged ability is a big no no, as he needs to have a reliable way to attack air enemies. the fire retardant could work for air enemies but it's not really a big damage dealing move. He needs something for his R that lets him shoot at flying enemies that will also work well on grounded enemies.

I was thinking something like this.

The halligan becomes his M2, as I can see it being used fairly often along with his primary attack, I also changed it to be a circle attack so it can hit enemies all around him and knock almost everything back at once.

The Axe becomes his M1 and still has bonus damage to weakened enemies. now defined as less than 15% health to give it a more solid value. It effectively deals double damage to weakened enemies. could combo well with crowbar.

fire retardant is moved to shift, and would be used semi often on large crowds to aid in crowd control. only initially hit enemies have weakened defense for a short time, but the foam does stick around for a while and will slow enemies that walk on it. It would be a "ranged" attack that could hit flying enemies that are at least somewhat close to the player.

R is the fire hose, It's an AOE attack that could be medium ranged and would work well on both ground and air enemies.

RoR2 has one shot protection. If you take damage which is higher than your maximum HP (i.e. if you have 1000HP and take 1001 damage), rather than dying instantly you get reduced to I think 1hp, or something similar I am not 100% certain on how much it reduces it by. An user found the script for this protection in the game files and it is working as intended.

It seems like the other user may have stumbled on a problem with that, in that if you had very little HP, to the point where every attack could one shot you, you would trigger the protection, then if you regenerated quickly enough you could avoid the next attack since the one shot protection resets when you recover to full HP.

So we figured out how our artificer friend kept wiping our entire team.

If you have wake of vultures and kill a blazing enemy to get the buff from them, gasoline will apply the blazing to allies for some fucking reason. With enough gasoline, you can VERY easily wipe everyone in your group by killing a blazing elite.

Be sure to ask your group for wake of vultures, and have fun ;)

Certain enemies spawn in certain levels, and some only after a certain difficulty has been reached, but stage number doesn't change anything. Advancing stages just pushes the difficulty meter a bit. The difficulty continues to progress past HAHAHAHA.

The first one you pick up gives 5% crit chance, and you have a base crit chance with no items.

what is the base chance? 1%? Does it vary by class?

If I'm too far away from the cover it's quite literally impossible in many cases. If I don't have enough movespeed or have too much movespeed, I have a couple of seconds to spot cover and zip zoom behind it.
Too little speed = can't make it in time, death
Too much speed = hit a tiny incline and skyrocket to be shot down or overshoot the cover

If you can outrun titan lasers, im pretty sure you can outrun his as well with high enough movespeed. 15 socks should do it.

There's trees, rocks, and ditches filled with water. But again you can just play it safe and only go for them when the laser is on cooldown.
