>no fishing hamlet
user, they're in some weird dream dimension with magical mumbo jumbo all over the place. Are you retarded?
Not enough insight.
space time is convoluted in drangleic
>the wrath of Mother Kos
Do some say the wrath of Mother Kosm?
Literally NO ONE says Kosm
Byrgenwerth...
If people could just see the fishing hamlet above them it wouldn't need to be hidden and guarded
you said kosm, user.
Because BB sets the precedent for being a secret dream world you single digit IQ mong. There is a world of difference between going through a clock portal and (in the case of DaS2) walking through a straight gray corridor that leads you below sea level for no discernible reason whatsoever.
Micolash fuckin retarded or summin
...it actually sets the precedent of Dreamlands, physical planes of existence accessed through the consciousness, a concept explored in Lovecraft's "Polaris".
>can't kill him
Shit game. Can't remember if it's possible to knock him down the abyss or not, either. Pretty sure I tried.
You can beast roar him into the "abyss", or if you look closely, the Nightmare Yharnam level in the DLC
Damn. That clocktower looks so sexy, I feel like sekiro lacked a lot of the grandiose that soulsborne had when it came to architecture.
because feudal nippon architecture had little variation, couple in with the fact that it is the most overused setting in vidya
>Lovecraft
Literally who?
Lovecraft is a Russian movie director who did the film Polaris which later got a remake with George Clooney.
That one guy who really disliked niggers
The dude with the fish people
literally you.
HOW THE FUCK DO I BEAT THE ORPHAN AAAAAAAA
A Hunter is a hunter, even in a dream!
ooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo
Dodge.
If you press R1 or R2 you will swing your weapon. If one of those swings collides with the orphan the bar at the bottom of the screen will decrease slightly. You have to make this bar reach zero to win,but watch out because he can swing at you, too!
Listen to these anons
FOUL BEAST
this town's finished...
YOU'RE NOT HELPING I GET HIM DOWN TO A SLIVER OF HEALTH BUT IT NEVER TAKES I JUST WANNA BEAT THIS STUPID FUCKING GAME ALREADY
egz dee
Orphan is optional silly you can beat the game and ignore him
EASY FOR YOU TO SAY IM NOT A FUCKING PUSSY
but you are a bitch
too pussy to beat him
just hit him bro!
Ah! Kos! Or, as some nigger say, Kosm.
Orphan is fucking easy after a few hours. Laurence is the real problem
Summon a pro player to do most of the work. You'll still need to be very careful though.
That's because you were meant to give him the Yharnam Stone (The one you get for killing Pthumeru Queen) but they cut out the option at some point in development.
You can knock him down but he'll still be alive
The difference between BB and DaS2 is that BB has more interesting excuses for why they put no effort into the world design.
You can do it, user.
I believe in (You).
Micolash, go to bed.
Ah! But he is always in a dream!
>first started Old Hunters on New Game +
>trying to fight Orphan/Laurence
just fuck my shit up
these are the last two bosses to beat for me, not including the later chalice dungeon ones
i liked bloodborne, yet i don't think a sequel would really work
it feels like they'd fall back on the old lore and themes like they did in ds2
i want trick weapons back though
>i want trick weapons back though
this
>game entirely about dreams and nightmares makes no sense
you've really cracked the code. we can finally put all discussion to rest
>No fishing hamlet?
What? But it's right there...
Is this a kin?
Don't listen to these fools. There's no such thing as the "Fishing Hamlet". It's a lie peddled by detractors.
>Laurence
In his second form, just play it safe and only attack when he's throwing lava at you. It's honestly the best strategy I could come up with. If you're having trouble with his first form, this guy helps a lot. He always dies when Laurence loses his legs though. So it's not worth it otherwise, since he'll only increase its health
Forgot pic
A hunter is a hunter, even in a dream!
incredibly based and redpilled person
BRAVO MIYAZAKI
I have no idea, because I haven't play Sekiro yet, but fuck you for ruining this to me[/spoiker]
What was supposed to happen if you gave it to him?
Every time
What???? That doesn't make any sense.
youtube.com
There's even an unused interaface and a dialogue accompanied with giving him the stone.
Interesting. The Yharnam stone is actually a is a lithopedion of the deceased Mergo. But how Mergo and Yharnam are related to the Hamlet, I have no fucking idea.
Rarely he'll attack you but I dont know how to trigger it.
I only learned when I got in his way
Pretty fucking cool. So does this mean that kos is who gave Lady Yarnham the blood? Or is Lady Yarnham herself Kos?
It's there but you can't see it. The girl in the shell falls from the sky.
Not much can be deduced from the dialogue, for now. And we already see what Kos looks like
Or some say Kosm.
beasts all over the shop...
the DLC put an end to the kosm faggotry
cope
Looks like lady yarnham ngl
>he doesn't have enough insight
I don't remember Lady Yharnam being a massive squid mommy.
Look at the color and the human face. Obviously she grew a bit
>massive
>squid
>mommy
I...
Miyazaki would probably deny it because of publisher rights but I really like to think there's some stuff meant to slyly link Sekiro into the Bloodborne universe. And consequentially into the Demons' Souls universe if you are aware of Gascoigne's cut content.
Dragonpeople are obviously enlightened "Kin" of the the dragon of the west, who himself is a Great One, whose dream is known as the divine realm to Ashina folk, and whose paleblood is treated as the divine waters by the cultists. The divine heir's bloodline is a strain of another Great One's blood that has symptoms of immortality and Great One killing powers, perhaps like the bloodline of the Moon Presence that immortalizes hunters in its dream, and grants them bloody and beastly powers. Also something something sculptor cleric beast transformations.
DeS remaster when ?
Please don't lewd Alfred please please don't do that.
Those tails/legs reminds me of Seath the Scaleless
Can't forget about the centipedes making shit immortal in BB too with the headless bloodletting beast
But he's lewd
he's a bro
Oh fuck how could I forget one of the most blunt similarities with the straight-up vermin.
h-hot
I always found the wheel ridiculous until I cam across this picture.
Let me give a better version.
Also wheel is fucking brilliant, if you ask me. Sure, it has short range, but it's fun as hell.
Damn now I want to play it again
going through fanart or listening to the OST always brings me back to play, desu
Hot
Would love to see Maria dominate and pin the doll while they're wearing a bikini
I want to become kin

So many good pieces.
Except feudal Japan is one of the least used settings in games. Medieval setting is by far the most used in game history. Victorian setting like Bloodbornes is pretty rare too, even rarer than feudal Japan.
nice
She probably got torn to pieces and minced
How is Gascoigne Demon Souls?
Umbasa.
>ywn save Gascoigne's children
Umbasa is unique to Demon Souls?
i love that game
Yes. Umbasa is word only said in DeS. And Gascoigne was referred to as a priest from a foreign land (most likely Boletaria)
Does umbasa mean something? I don't remember it beyond that one religious guy occasionally throwing it around at the end of things.
Also how would Demons Souls and Bloodborne coexist without some major stuff conflicting?
Any other games that mock the player for being a bloodthirsty beast?
Umbasa is an expression (similar to the "Amen" or "God bless you" of Christianity) used by clerics and religious people in the world of Demon's Souls.
> how would Demons Souls and Bloodborne coexist without some major stuff conflicting?
Well, I'm sure there is some leeway. Soulsborne games all have a meta narrative that (if you're autistic enough) you can see tying them together.
>age of fog = age of everlasting dragons
>painted world made by the blood of the dark soul = Yharnam
>painted world made by the blood of the dark soul = Yharnam
But Yharnam isn't peaceful nor it's inhabitants kind.
Since when has good intentions ever worked out in any of these games?
Humanity cannot escape the influence of higher beings, I guess, no matter how much they remove ourselves from gods.
didn't realise how iconic these weapons are until now
what a great picture
0 Insight: Gas-con
1+ Insight: Gas-coin
99 Insight: Gas-co-ig-nee
Each series shares themes of hidden "truths" and humans pursuing forbidden knowledge. In a way, Bloodborne can be seen as the closest to the "truth" of how Soulsborne universes work revealing that the grander schemes of otherworldly, godly beings span far beyond human comprehension, and the mortal world is just suffering the side effects of reality fucking Great One shenanigans. So you could make sense of the series' seemingly conflicting dogmas by putting it in the context of different people at different points in history just trying to make sense of the world. Each series is a different blind man trying to describe the same world from a different perspective.
It's Gas-coin.
It will forever be Gas-coin.
I wish Sekiro would've scratched that "weird" itch that Bloodborne did, and Souls at times.
I liked the Dragon fight but aside from that, nothing kept me from eventually dropping it.
I suppose it just aimed for a more grounded setting.
Well, remember that magic as such doesn't exist in bloodborne and that your character ends soul magic when you finish DeS
Also you have some DeS armors scattered around the chalice dungeons and the va for maiden in black is the same as the doll, but I think it's just a coincidence.
Based self incest user
What part of "secret" didn't you understand
It's French and pronounced Gass-coa-nyie
Bone marrow ash and gun him down then. Yes it's lame but it gets the job done.
it's a shit boss that doesn't even get a glimpse of you if you have 10+ iq
All From games from the 90s onward share some lore elements. It's not something specific between DeS and Bloodborne. The moonlight sword has been around since at least King's field.
This asshole most definitely ain't in the know.
I beat him earlier today. Ludwig is harder.
bolt paper
>tfw no nagatoro daughterwife
cute!
it's basically like vereor nox
Laurence jobbed to the whirligig saw harder than I would have imagined
insightlet
>not including the later chalice dungeon ones
Do those first so you get some non-shit gems for your weapons that will help fighting them.
sauce
The Bloody Crow of Cainhurst was the true final boss of Bloodborne for me. I beat Ludwig, Laurence and the Orphan before I beat that absolute cunt.
Just killer her where you fought Gascoigne with that other dude.
I think the dream/nightmare worlds where from the aylamos blood granting humans to much insite so the ay lamos dientions spilled into the human world as well as turning them into beast.
