I wish there were more castlevania games that try hybriding between the sotn style and classic style.
Like how castlevania 3 has multiple routes and characters that play completely differently and have gimmicks that make them fun to maneuver around stages with.

but I don't really like The Esco, from what little interactions I've seen of him he is a bit of a faggot. he started mass deleting comments making fun of his pronounciation of "scythe", even addressing them in one of his video and he's a dick to people on his social media.
doesn't change the fact that I'm looking forward to this project, he's very selective and anal about the quality of sprites his artits provide him with and he takes his sweet as time tweaking the smallest things in the engine, which is the good type of autism that ensures polish.
I'm looking forward to this and Megaman X corrupted more than any other game in the next ten years.
mediocre level design, too many hallways, too easy without imposing artificial restrictions on yourself, weapons could use better movesets.

Don't let the spotlights hit you retard. that's how the demon heads spawn.
also the skeleton boss has easy fuck patterns, try learning them instead of tanking every head and then you'll have actual health for the level.
i beat the skeleton without being hit. i am trying to avoid the lights but not having much luck with avoiding the spear man. is there any weapon that out reaches them besides the shitty knife?
do you have the weapon glyph that lets you summon balls of light, I fforget the name. good range and turns the game to easy mode.

best advice I can give if you really don't want to bite the bullet and kill them one by one is to master the double jump-> drop kick, if you do it after they throw an attack and hit their head while they're in downtime you'll end up behind them and from there you just run.

Used to be my favorite series. Saw it dying on the PS2/DS and tried to warn everyone, but no one listened. Everyone fapped over those games. Then they got even worse and more watered down until Konami finally killed it all.

Only at the very beginning and only if you're trying to spam it. Like I said the other sub weapons are trash and in that fight you can use it at least twice at that point in the game which is more than enough to whoop his ass
