Depends on the fetish. I know the vore community has some ridiculous text-based games getting that sweet patreon dough.

Probably not. Though it’s easier to fleece furries through patreon

Man, I like text adventures. Shame they’re basically dead. I’d honestly pay a few bucks for a new infocom quality game.

Fallen London is the closest to a successful text game I've seen recently. I'd certainly play a text based game, but I'm not sure if I'd BUY one.

Zoomers don't have the attention span for text baseds.

Is this just another dumb idle game about increasing numbers? If not, I might give a shot.

Check the Play Store
Short Answer: Yes. You just have to package it right.

Yeah, there are a few “text based” games like this, but are is anyone making legit games with a text parser anymore?

Only a few MUDS and MUCKs that I know of

No, I hate text parsers.

Anyone else here play Armageddon back in the day?

I don't think parser-based stuff is going to be coming back for a while. That stuff tends to be more difficult to understand for the layman, especially compared to the CYOA format. Even if you wanted the player to have more control, I figure only hardcore Z-machine devs would use a parser rather than a GUI.

Mobile chat bots seem to be getting off the ground, so that may introduce the concept of parser-based gameplay to more people, but I doubt if it will be like the parse games of the past.

Ah man, is Armageddon dead now? That's a shame, but they did make it basically totally impenetrable to new players. It was by design, of course, but still.

Choice of Games.
Google it. I have bought many.

Only superficially at first. Elements from other genres are introduced eventually. It’s a fun little game that’ll last you a whole day and has a definite ending. Well worth the time to play, especially as it’s free online.

Neat. Guess I have something to do today then

Choice of Robots and the one about Steampunk death priests were the only ones that I liked. Jeeves simulator also seemed pretty good, but I didn't finish it. Any recommendations?

I have some stuff planned out for a pirate-themed CoC-like game (but without all the futa horsecocks), I don't know what tool/program to use to make it though
