I think the only way to truly do lightsabers justice is to make a system thats extremely simplistic but extremely punishing with obviously crystal clear failure and success states that involve extremely high lethality. There shouldnt be a wild sense of "freedom" or expression to the fighting, it should resemble something like Sekiro but even more cut down so that you almost simplify it to defense and instakill death moves. If you somehow make the jedi stealthy and make the blaster wielders actually scary opponents that require good defense, smart thinking and creative use of force powers to win, a lightsaber game could be kino
