Battlefront II crashed and burned so hard there probably won't be another brown woman protagonist in a Star Wars game for a very long time. Also I don't think these big companies are as completely oblivious to the GWGB phenomenon as they were a few years ago. this trailer has lots of references to Jedi Knight games in it like at least 5 references. the OP image is a copy of the side kick from jedi knight outcast and academy the ship she is in is same design as JK ship the characters hair is same as JK guy as is his name its just a diferent pronunciation of kyle keytan considering respawn used to be owned by activision and was making call of duty in quake3 around the time Raven Software was making jedi knight for activation also in quake3 and considering respawn and raven worked closely together on Cod over the years its likely the game will go heavily in that direction. no MP is a disappointment but understandable hopefully they release that later stand alone.

also interestingly raven released the source code of jedi knight to the public in 2013 because its copywright was lost. this game could literally lift that code and port it from quake to unreal.

this game is going to be fucking amazing any one who cant see this has no clue Jedi Knight is literally the best starwars games ever made and its story across the 3/4 games is better than multiple starwars movies to the point it was the ONLY starwars game that lucas considered cannon.

considering Disney partnered with EA they likely cant continue that storyline and activision might own the rights to the old JK story but this game 100% is going to be a spiritual successor .
