Game was a cash grab because they otherwise forced you to buy two games to get the 'real' ending, which otherwise negates the other two games. It's not like Pokemon where there's an ounce of exclusivity--the two choices are pretty much paradox, 'what if you fucked up and go full-retard on either your birth family, or your adopted family' choices.
