the only time when they will actually intervene with you is if you have straight up gore in your profile picture and even then they just switch it to the default one and give you a slap on the wrist. If you on servers though they will probably tell you to put the weapon away or if they are really retarded perma ban you for being too offensive

TF2 is boring to watch, it's way more fun to actually play the game and it doesn't help that the compfags play a very homogenized version of the game without any of the craziness that regular TF2 has. You won't ever see a Spy try to backstab an Engineer and sap his buildings in comp.

Look up TF2 Vintage, it's mostly active on weekends but it's got a decent enough community that you can play some matches when it's available. I'd suggest TF2 Classic instead but that got mired in the devs' own egos.

To think you can still get anywhere through trading in this game is ignorant thinking. The market crash in 2016 only proved that when buds went to complete shit and hell, even then, with keys being as much as they are, there's no real way anyone can go for the legendary "0 to Hero" like you could back when trading was at its peak.
Seriously, as much as I love this game, the community aspect is very dead. People argue that SFMs and Community Updates keep the game alive but man, tell me the last full community update you saw fully and successfully be pulled off, cause I can only think back to before EOTL.
It's time to accept it, you guys can argue "MUH STATISTICS, LOOK AT STEAM, TOP 20 GAMES PLAYED" all you want but: No. Shut up. You dont care about numbers, you care about the community, which is gone. It isn't coming back, and people just need to fucking accept that.

The game sucks. Here's how I'd fix it:
-Make medics less important. Right now you can't win unless you have medics, which isn't the case for any other class. Medics aren't fun.
-Buff pyro. This is the eternal meme, but the devs refuse to remove his incredibly low skill ceiling.
-Buff spy. Same thing, it needs a niche besides shitting on newbies that will die to anything anyways.
