Old Bioware was kino tho
degenerates wanted to fuck the aliens.
onionsboys go nuts over """""""RPGs"""""""" with non-existent RPG mechanics and gays/lesbians/trannies/nignogs.
>combat is much shittier gears of war
>RPG has no role playing
>awful level design
>game is 90% shooting corridors
>world building is garbage
>The first one for its Space Opera feel
>The second for its characters
>The third for fucking up everything
All the characters suck
Nah.
ME2 is kino af tho
I like how he always has Miranda with him.

Babbies first vidya romance
It's believable
I want to HUG Kelly Chambers!
go away ireland
Literally casuals first wrpg.
>the plot goes to shit after the first game
>the lore is as generic as they come in scifi
>the combat is just your average tps but with a few skills
>dialogue has a few cool choices but its mostly meaningless
Some side characters were likeable, i guess
>Literally casuals first wrpg.
no wonder Yea Forumseddit can't stop sucking it off
1 was good, it had soul and potential. The franchise immediately fell off of the rails in 2 and became a waifu fucking cover shooter.
me1 was fun, especially taking the mako out on planets and being able to get in and out of it.
me2 was terrible. I lost complete interest in the series because of this cheesy "character driven" handholding game.
I actually liked me3 quite a bit, it had the best gameplay and I did not give a fuck about the ending. The whole game was a rollercoaster desu
3 was the worst of course but it wasnt a bad game.
Yeah I've played basically every WRPG out there and I still liked ME1, it was a fairly casual game since it was designed with Xbros in mind but it was still great.
There were no big budget sci-fi RPGs. People only realize all these years later that BioWare makes shitty games.
Anyone who says 1 is good let alone the best is an absolutely braindead moronic vedditor
All these games are terrible but 1 plays the absolute objectively undenianly worse and most tedious
>degenerates
Don’t be mad that HMxQF is the big brain option and future of both races

Counterpoint
Because you’re an incel
she is just the absolute worst non human squad member
Because it's good and your opinion is hot trash, stupid contrarian
Jacob takes that prize
It's not a bad game at all but it's a bad sequel
If wanting to fuck these curves is wrong then I don't want to be right
>Non human
Also Kasumi is just as lame as Kei Leng so she's the worst human squad member. Literally a fucking anime
>Its not a bad game its just not a good x game!
>non-human
kek, subtle user
Babby's first action rpg.
>that tsundere playing hard to get email she sends to shepard
Quarian-Human Empire confirmed
nah, he's right, just for ME1: combat is garbage, the roleplay is a fucking joke and the paragon/renegade system is a crime, the Mako was hot garbo and was made of styrofoam and most planets weren't even good enough for a shitty pre-alpha survival unity asset flip bullshit steam scam and yet the game will proudly drop you into one of those at every fucking turn, the inventory gives me nightmare to this day, weapons were all shit and nothing felt like I was actualy shooting with an actual gun, the settings has like 1 good and/or original idea in the middle of a puddle of mediocre space opera.
ME2: the combat was less shit but that's only because they dropped the pretends about being a RPG so inventory and skills were streamlined and the game still was a subpart gears of war, they dropped the mako and instead you went on to scan planets for minerals in a gameplay element that was the game equivalent of being a clerk doing data entry in an accounting agency.
ME3: was like ME2 you just pretend to hate it because suddently you couldn't pretend that every problem and design flaw these games had would be fixed in the sequel
on a side note every threads fanboys like you have devolves into trash waifufaggotry in about 2 or 3 posts at best, really show how much of the actual game there is to discuss at this point
talifags killed mass effect
I'm pretty sure Andromeda did that.
ME1: best story and roleplaying, but clunky combat and repetitive world assets.
ME2: great combat, pointless main story. Best characters.
ME3: Best combat, worst story, bad characters.
i was ready for this pic to be
>trust nobody not even yourself
>see his kid in Andromeda
>shittiest reference in video game history
I mad.
>ME1 Cerberus were a few black ops cells working on illegal experimentation and projects like bringing back Rachni
>ME2 Cerberus suddenly turned into a massive organisation/corporation with few worlds unofficially owned by them and a functioning Navy, although it can be waved off as a mere overkill private military
>ME3 Cerberus is a galactic superpower strong enough to take key locations throughout the galaxy, and has FULLY MODELLED spy robots, and is an active detriment to literally everything non-Reaper, and managed to piss the Reapers off so hard that the Reapers went out of their way to fuck a planet up
Where did all the manpower come from in 2?
The first one is the only one that gives you a sense of exploration and unknown discovering the reapers and Prometheans. It's also the only one with any semblance of builds with the leveling trees. That is why it is the best one. In 2 and 3 builds were casualized even more and the reapers weren't interesting any more so they made up some space bugs top be scared of now and it just wasn't as interesting.
I enjoyed the first one fuck you.
>best story and roleplaying
no it isn't, it's the same garbage, the same nonsensical system were you can't play the role of anything because bioware's writter have an OC you can't touch. stop kidding yourself it's garbo, you like garbo
>tfwn prequel Zaeed spinoff where you play through his adventures as a mercenary, amassing vast wealth only to lose it gambling and then get a lucrative offer from Cerberus to help Shepard in the final scene
I always thought ME2 was the best in the trilogy. But now that I’m replaying ME1 I have to say the mass effect fags are right, the first game is superior and the series has only gone downhill since.
That gif wtf
>Where did all the manpower come from in 2?
It's a mystery. It's even worse in ME3 because Cerberus suffered big losses in ME2 and the connecting novel, Retribution, had them lose even more. During that book TIM even laments that Cerberus is tiny by galactic standards and he predicts it will take him at least a decade to rebuild his organization. Then in ME3 he has a whole fleet and an army.
w/e
I went back and played 1 for the first time in 5 years (albeit with texture mods and sweetFX), and I honestly really fucking enjoyed it when I wasn't crashing in the Presidium after returning from a mission, or that one planet that was nearly impossible to drive the Mako around on. It's a shame that they dumbed down abilities and stats so much, because 2 would've been much more worthy of GOTY
>or that one planet that was nearly impossible to drive the Mako around on.
Nodacrux is easy if you learn the map. There is a specific way that is best to reach each node on it.
I replayed ME1 on the eve of ME3's release and also enjoyed it more than ME2 in the end. The uncharted worlds give ME1 the most impressive sense of real size. The Attican Traverse feels vast and desolate, like a true wilderness.
I want a game where we have ME1's open exploration and combat maps, with ME2's abilities, and ME3's guns. In ME2 I really missed those big open maps in ME1. It would have been cool in the sequel if enemy bases were more dynamic, with gun ships and enemy patrols and such.
First one was actually good
Fell off after that
>ME2's abilities
so fucking shitty and boring ability trees?
I like Samara. I just wish there was more time to adventure around with her and Thane before you have to immediately handle their loyalty missions/shit hits the fan.
Sounds like you want Star Citizen
Yea the weird time limit shit in ME2 really sucks. Like there's tons of fun dialogue if you bring Legion along on Tali's loyalty mission, but after getting the Reaper IFF, you can only complete like 2 missions before the final and most important time limit in the game begins that can cause every crew member you've gotten attached to to die. So you have to know to save Tali and Legion's loyalty missions for last. The DLC complicates this even further
>all those ME3 npcs with sad situations like the old woman with Alzheimer's who continually talks to the asari clerk about her obviously deceased son who hasn't written in a month
Who's the more garbage race, Batarians or Vorcha?
Humans
There are at least some good Batarians in the world/Batarians who aren't raging terrorist retards like all you see in the Mass Effect games.
All Vorcha are hissing retards that deserve a full clip in the head.
I just mean the powers themselves. The flashbang, vanguard charge, cloak, ect
Because it was made by Bioware. That's literally it. They're such a dogshit studio and most of their career was spent riding off of peoples' nostalgia and goodwill towards Baldur's Gate 2.
TELL CAPTAIN GAVORN WE NOT KILL ANYONE TODAY
What was the point of that scene and of Captain Gavorn? He even appears in a video in Lair of the Shadow Broker.
Who knows? There’s so much cut content and dialogue in these games it’s frustrating.
>Okay, I’ll tell him.
How would that Vorcha react?
He'd snarl and you might get an interrupt to kill him when he pulls a gun on you.
you are incorrect
>Renegade option starts flashing
>he snarls “Thanks, human.” and walks away
Vorcha were a waste of disc space. So were drell. I'd have rather got female turians and batarians.
It was the closest thing to a proper new sci fi space epic we got in this generation.
Also fuck you ME1 and 2 are amazing
i know the ME2 hate is strong here, but none of that is actually true about Cerberus in ME2. They dont have a navy or own any worlds, all of that happened in 3. It's mostly consistent with 1, the only really stupid thing is them having an emblem that they plaster everywhere despite being a secretive organization.
