who cares. it doesn't hurt you any

if you bought the game, you have the right to do whatever you want with it, whether it's cheating or modding it.
the real question is, why should anyone give a fuck about how you feel about your experience

You're entitled to cheat and do whatever the fuck you want with a game you own, that's for sure.

There are 100 things more important that this shitty article made only for hate clicks.

They don't. They just feel obliged to bait for clicks.

MUH ENTERTAINMENT CONSUMPTION RIGHTS

>Why do people think they're entitled
Why do people feel need to tell me useless bullshit. We get it. We all do it. This shit as been round for ages. Why suddenly care now?

Attached: effective attack.gif (371x217, 2M)

Neither does not finishing the game.

Pee rats think they are entitled to play a game, but they are not willing to pay money for it

Attached: 1523809781964.jpg (606x731, 202K)

This was written by a games journalist. The final boss of games journalism is getting clicks, and this tactic succeeded.

this must be the first triple digit iq post on this topic i've seen on Yea Forums
you niggers get played

>gaming "journos" cry for EZ-moodo + boast about using cheats to beat a game
>meanwhile a Quadriplegic gamer beats the whole fucking game on his own
Has there been a more satisfying REKT' moment in history?

>have the cushy ass job of playing video games for a living
>can't even beat a game and instead use cheats and tell the world how not guilty you feel

Attached: 1521344343400.jpg (500x498, 33K)

Evidently money should hive you access to anything you want

People get outraged that an expensive coffee shop, that focuses on the science of brewing, doesn't carry milk and sugar because they feel like their figurative money that they haven't actually paid yet implies the cost of milk and sugar. It's disgusting "ME, ME, ME" culture that pushes this kind of mentality everywhere. It's not enough for someone to walk away from something, they first have to try and make it fit them first while complaining

Who cares. What im more interested in is how saying stupid shit on the internet to make people mad became a paying job? What does this say about us as a society that someone can make millions by what amounts to trolling nerds into clicking on a link?

We need a fucking Patriots AI to filter out all the bullshit spewed by literally who, mine included

Incels. Stop whining about the game and improve yourself.

You're perfectly entitled to cheat, but people are going to rightfully make fun of you when you write articles for a living about how you mastered the game.

It’s ok to cheat and be a shitter since it’s youre life and you can fuck it up with a lack of discipline all you want. However when you have a platform in which you have an audience such as journalism and you promote cheating or try to normalize it, then you’re a shitter that needs to be burned at the stake.

They'll "beat the game," but if the game is something like Sekiro where the oppressive nature of the game is a large part of its atmosphere or DMC where all the fun is in learning the combat system then they're just ruining the experience for themselves

Its a video game.
Video games should be fun.
Not work.

People would kill for that job and these asshats don't even try but talk shit. I wish I could be bad and lazy at my job and not get fired.

>Stop whining about the game and improve yourself.
No I'm more about how fucking open people have become about their useless shitty lives. That side of *entitlement* not that fact of cheating. And I'm guessing this whole cheating is on all sides consoles and PC's? Or more PC?

>entitled

you sound like a fucking sjw, go suck a dick and fuck off

this is such a weak argument

>Sekiro announced.
>Confirmed not to have multiplayer.
>"Good, that means I won't get invaded by tryhards and I can just beat the game on my own without distractions."
>Sekiro comes out.
>Turns out it had nothing to do with being griefed, they're just fucking garbage.
>They know, they fucking UNDERSTAND the pedigree that Miyazaki and Fromsoft put into their games.
>"No, I know that if a game doesn't work for you, just don't play it. But I'm special and rules don't apply to me. Make an easy mode right now or you're ableist."
The fucking funniest part is that they were all already talking like easy mode was just a matter of time. Like a bunch of slants who don't even know what the fuck you're screaming about are going to give a shit after selling 2,000,000+ copies.

If you need to use cheats because you're shit that's fine but why did this retard think he needed to validate himself to no one in particular?

Attached: 1497719905670.jpg (323x156, 5K)

>Journos complain for easy mode, claim any challenge is discriminatory
>Cripple plays it to prove thats bullshit.
>Journos either ignore him or call him disgusting.

Attached: are you kidding me.png (1530x2200, 632K)

Do you think that journos don't use cheat engine to finish every PC game that doesn't have a retarded mode?

cheats are good, easiest way to get better is to cheat

Because you paid for the full game. There's a point where difficulty becomes bad game design, but most AAA games don't have this problem. Making thought pieces and putting out opinions about marketing games to wider audience and why exactly there is a "don't touch me you filthy casual" culture isn't automatically bad, but they're just baiting culture warriors for clicks.

See this guy get's it.

I had a friend that would only play a game if cheat engine worked with it...it was really weird

It's like playing with save states. That made a lot of emulated games more enjoyable for me.

Someone post the pasta

Most old games were bullshit though so save states are ok under certain conditions.
>Die once to the boss but still have lives left
>Get sent back three stages to waste your time

Why do people feel entitled to play a videogame without paying for it?

Attached: 1545074574945.jpg (640x640, 37K)

people being shitters using cheats is fine.

Getting through the early stages with enough health/lives/ammo/determination is part of the challenge of the old games. You can't say using save states is "okay" because you're skipping that challenge. It's fine if you use them, but it's still cheating. You're not any better than the guy that gave himself extra ammo/health.

I PAID $60 FOR THIS GAME AND I DESERVE TO EXPERIENCE THE FULL CONTENT BUT I'M NOT SOME JOBLESS NEET VIRGIN TO HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO SPEND ON SILLY VIDEO GAMES

>I beat sekiro's final boss with cheats and i feel fine

I-it's ok guys, i deserve to win by default

Attached: butt.jpg (264x270, 9K)

Those design choices weren't for challenge though, it was made to battle video game rentals.

That's irrelevant. It's part of the challenge of the game and you don't get to say you beat it clean if you used savestates. You still cheated.

Yeah playing broken shit is part of the challenge. Fuck having fun or just balancing the battleground from outdated bullshit. Hope you don't use mods to fix your shitty PC ports again then as that's not beating the game clean.

Because they paid for it.

Why do you get to tell someone how they get to enjoy their property?
Do you get assblasted when people use mods in Bethesda games?
Do you get assblasted when people speedrun games by using glitches?
Do you get assblasted over exploits?
Do you get assblasted over cheesing?

You sound like the type of cunt who cries when someone orders their steak well done. Nigger you don't have to eat their steak. You eat your steak the way you like it.

Also how much of a zoomer are you? You do know every game before 2005 had cheat codes in the game right?

This argument extends to easy difficulty as well. I beat Witcher 3 on Death March. Other people beating it on normal or easy didn't make my accomplishment any less gratifying. All easy ans normal do is allow everyone to have fun. If you buy a game for 60 dollars you should be allowed to play it the way you want.

Attached: 89cd49ddab19ea3a3291011fd2196770_1_1.jpg (900x489, 164K)

This entire """"controversy"""" is so fucking stupid. Why do you care if some fag cheated? Why did some fag write an op-ed as though anybody would honestly read this? I guarantee you people have only read the headline and that's all because nobody sane would waste their time entertaining such garbage. Just stop caring about this stuff, you'll be calmer at the end of the day.

Stay mad, cheater.

Pretty much this. It's his toy, let him play with it the way he wants to. It's his to break if that's what makes him happy.

So why games needs easy modes?

C'mon now, fixing your ports or a bug through a fan made patch is the same thing to make the game more playable.

Participation trophies in kids sports

If they want to do it sure, the only person who you're ruining it for is yourself. Its like reading the last page of a book without getting through the rest. Do it if you want, I don't care, but I don't want to hear your uninformed opinions on the game. T

We're not talk about fixing bugs, we're talking about someone being bad enough at games that they can't handle starting a few stages back when they die. If you say "it's not cheating because I'm just fixing a bug" you can literally say that about anything. Oh, the enemies do too much damage I'll just give myself more health. Oh, this jump is hard I'll just savescum until I get it since it's just a bug.

Bottom line is you're cheating and you'll feel better if you just admit it.

Pirated this game and had zero fun with and without cheats. The locations are dull and tiny, probably made that way because of all the time you'll spend slogging through ridiculously hard bosses and trash mobs. Even with cheats I would get constantly memed on by everyone surrounding me and constantly stunlocking me until I fall to the ground after landing a hit or two.
At least Dork Souls had interesting locations and bosses, Sekiro is just boring medieval jap shit.

>Yea Forums complains that journo’s say gamers are entitled
>Yea Forums now has to defend the honor of their dear soulless corporation because gamers are apparently not entitled to victory in the game spend $60 on
Fuck off, people can cheat all they want, people can butcher the game for all you ought to care, they already bought the game, it’s theirs, they don’t owe the developer SHIT

For people who aren't skilled.

Look, someone playing catch in the backyard with their kid doesn't diminish the MLB. Someone cooking ramen doesn't diminish what 5 star chefs do. Some swimming in an inflatable yard pool doesn't diminish Olympic swimming.

A kid, a girl, a normie beating a game on easy doesn't diminish higher skilled players beating it on hard. Those less skilled players aren't going to be able to beat it on hard. But on easy they will get to have fun at their level.

If you don't need easy mode don't use it. If you don't like well done steak get it rare.

Attached: 1554826129403.jpg (750x927, 195K)

Cheats are fine. Even the article is basically just him saying he enjoyed cheating, not that it was an accomplishment. Game Genie and Gameshark were always fun to fuck around with.

What's dumb is quotes like this from Forbes:
>"The fact that these games don't have any difficulty settings means that only a certain sort of player with time, inclination, reaction speed and lack of physical issues will ever see the final boss fight anywhere but on Twitch. This is a problem."

Forgot image. In-game cheats were cool and should be brought back.

Attached: dk mode.png (565x443, 217K)

You are still modifying a game for your own enjoyment, even if it is to fix a bug, fix an oversight or to fix something that is outdated like shitty controls. Or hey with how video games are going you can spend 300 hours grinding for something or pay 5.99 to get it now? Why not just patch that out? That's exactly what save states are for with older games and how they combated rentals. Why do you enjoy having bullshit in your game where it clearly breaks itself?

From
>W-we can’t add an easy mode! That’s development resources for a setting the game isn’t designed around
Also From
>here’s six extra playthroughs were the enemies have health and damage the game wasn’t designed around and the player starts with items the game isn’t designed for you to start with, for every one of our soulsborne games

True, but I find it highly questionable to waste time playing a game you are clearly not enjoying. Though I guess this is the cornerstone of the consumercuck ethos in the streaming era.

Yeah, if it's third party mods, who cares? I'm not a fan of extensive difficulty options because there isn't really a way to balance it all. It really seems like there only need to be two modes in any game ever:
>Purchase the developer cut edition with the game as intended
>Purchase the narrative mode edition where you have infinite health / ammo / lives / enemies with 1 health

Therefore people who want to play just for the story can.

But the forbes quote is right, if you don’t have naturally good reflexes you’re fucked. There are some that contend you can lower your reaction times, but that’s about as scientific as chiropractics. And even they don’t contend that everyone can achieve a good RT just that it can be improved. It’s like if everyone on Earth was capable of raising their height by an inch or two, and the game locked everyone shy of 6’3” out of the game, you couldn’t argue “well you can improve you height, therefore it’s your fault if you’re too short”

They treat games like movies. And to them, not being able to finish the game is like being blocked from watching the last scene of a movie. We can thank the cinematic bullshit in modern games for this.

Also many casuals and non-gamers have started playing video games in the last decade. And by non-gamer, I mean they lack common gamer mentality, such as getting gud and persevering. They want to get rewarded for every little thing they do and hate the thought of having to get better. You can thank "nerd" culture becoming popular for attracting these faggots.

>tfw wageslave salaryman who comes home at 6pm and leaves at 8am and I bought Sekiro when it was released
>tfw I finally beat Isshin yesterday

We’re all gonna make it brahs.

Not every game needs to be completable by everybody. It's ok to make games some people will never finish.

what a fucking reddit response. Fuck safe opinions. The faggot journalist needs to get gud. If he can't, that's fine. Use cheats. Just don't try to validate your faggy ass choice for any reason other than you couldn't get gud.

It's almost as tho if you beat the game in it's original state the game rewards you for your perseverance. So from now on, just shit the fuck up with your retarded opinions about a game/games you've never played because you feel entitled t0 be a bitch 24/7.

More like, why would you even want to? I don't understand why people feel compelled to play these games if they're so adverse to difficulty. Sekiro's not even THAT hard. Guess it helps that I've always played Souls games with a STR/DEX build and without using a shield.

I played all DS games with cheats just to enjoy the locations, bosses and lore. I play most games with cheats just to move through the plot more quickly.
Tried Sekiro without cheats and got shat on by the first general dude in the first area 20+ times. Barely any plot so far and the locations are pretty boring.

$60 and hours learning the boss should be fine. Sword Saint is turned to a ridiculous degree and is a betrayal of From fans

I’ve played every single soulslel game except Sekiro you imbecile, it’s not resource intensive to just do the opposite of what they do on NG+ cycles. Also “you get to play the same game again but with the enemies’ stats turned out X%” is not a reward, even the original Super Mario wasn’t that fucking lazy

They targeted gamers.

Gamers.

We're a group of people who will sit for hours, days, even weeks on end performing some of the hardest, most mentally demanding tasks. Over, and over, and over all for nothing more than a little digital token saying we did.

We'll spend most if not all of our free time min maxing the stats of a fictional character all to draw out a single point of damage per sec.

Many of us have made careers out of doing just these things: slogging through the grind, all day, the same quests over and over, hundreds of times to the point where we know evety little detail such that some have attained such gamer nirvana that they can literally play these games blindfolded.

Do these people have any idea how many controllers have been smashed, systems over heated, disks and carts destroyed 8n frustration? All to latter be referred to as bragging rights?

These people honestly think this is a battle they can win? They take our media? We're already building a new one without them. They take our devs? Gamers aren't shy about throwing their money else where, or even making the games our selves. They think calling us racist, mysoginistic, rape apologists is going to change us? We've been called worse things by prepubescent 10 year olds with a shitty head set. They picked a fight against a group that's already grown desensitized to their strategies and methods. Who enjoy the battle of attrition they've threatened us with. Who take it as a challange when they tell us we no longer matter. Our obsession with proving we can after being told we can't is so deeply ingrained from years of dealing with big brothers/sisters and friends laughing at how pathetic we used to be that proving you people wrong has become a very real need; a honed reflex.

Gamers are competative, hard core, by nature. We love a challange. The worst thing you did in all of this was to challange us. You're not special, you're not original, you're not the first; this is just another boss fight.

>has to write an entire article trying to justify him needing to finish the game with mods when he can just say simply "I can't get good" or "mods are fun" and call it day
>or not saying anything at all
Who's he trying to get validation from anyway

Not if you are charging money for it.
If it were free, you'd be right.

If it costs money you should be allowed to see and play everything in the game, period.
Easy mode in no way damages anyone playing on higher difficulty. Imagine paying for a meal and not being able to finish it. You ask for a to go box so you can finish it. Then the cook says "fuck you, if you can't eat it all then you don't deserve to eat it later".

>inb4 reddit spacing & food analogy comments not addressing the argument.

Rise up, if you would...

What pisses me off about this isnt that he did it, but more that he decided to make a whole article to brag about how he did it.

He's obviously poking the hornet's nest and it's scummy as hell.

Mostly because Fromdrones are compelled by soulshit marketing to declare everyone who hasn’t beaten the game a subhuman unworthy of life because they haven’t proven they could finish holy miyazaki’s game. Then they move the goalpost when you do by saying “well you have to buy and finish the $20 dlc that’s epic hard or kys!”

it's journo clickbait faggots with no real interest in video games who are more invested in the idea of being a video games writer because they gotta fulfill muh pyramid of needs, you guys always take the bait as if they are actual humans and not just bizarre, twisted amalgamations of everything wrong with human existence

*crack*

now sekiro, THAT was a... an okay game

YOU CHEATED NOT ONLY THE GAME BUT YOURSELF

>if you can't eat it all then you don't deserve to eat it later
We don't do take out here.
Got results though

Alpha chads don't play video games

I played Souls with the biggest greataxe I can find in every game and just unga pancaked everything to death because I found it fun. Adapted just fine and I consider myself average at most video games if I'm being generous. How fucking terrible at video games is everyone? Do they just not mash l1? Even with the reduced window from doing it too much you can reasonably deflect most attacks in the game on reaction. The first dojo boss and the longarms should've taught people how powerful just sitting back and parrying can be once you've wittled their health down a bit to curb their regen. That's how I beat every single boss except Ogres, Bulls and DoH. The game is honestly not that hard. Now I'm sure this playstyle would get you absolutely buttfucked in a charmless run but that's not what anybody's talking about when they moan about the difficulty.

>bragging
I saw if as shitting elitist trolls and encouraging players to do what makes them happy instead of complying with a made up digital code of honor because of a few loud mouthed bullies.

Some people just do not have the type reflexes needed to beat Sekiro. It's ok to enjoy yourself. If the difficulty is pissing you off then you aren't enjoying yourself. Gaming is meant to be fun.

The better question is why do these fuckers have to make articles about it.

If you buy a rubix cube, then can't put it back together again, did you get ripped off? Games don't always need to be like movies where people see whole thing, it's ok for the ending to be something you see only if you overcome the challenge.

Like if a game has a super-boss, and some cutscenes after you win, the game isn't ripping you off because you can't defeat that boss. I don't see why the ending of a game can't be a reward like that if that's what the developers want.
This is fine too, nothing wrong with playing a single-player game the way you want. Cheats can be fun too.

>Some people just do not have the type reflexes needed to beat Sekiro
Then don't pick it up

>if you bought the game, you have the right to do whatever you want with it
this is a fucking cancer consumerist mentality. treating video games as fast food dopamine dispensers instead of artistic medium kills the industry.

Look, I have a full time job. I don't have time to play the game normally like you bunch of NEET losers. If I want to cheat, then I'm going to cheat.

where do you see whining anywhere in my post? I beat the game the same week it came out without cheating and have never played a Souls game before this. I genuinely don't care about how anyone else beat the game because I'm not that invested in it. I only bought it because everyone was talking nonstop about how difficult it was.

Why do you Sekirofags keep making this thread over and over? Is your game really that bad that you'd rather shitpost about it than play it?

I don't care about people cheating in single player games. I care about people getting paid for writing articles about how they cheated in a single player game. Says a lot about our society.

>wageslaves

Attached: 1537095388069.jpg (735x490, 87K)

You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference.

There's nothing wrong with using hacks or cheats and playing around with the game even if you suck at it. If it's a single-player game, do whatever you like. People have always used Gamesharks and stuff. Just don't act like it's equivalent to the experience of beating the game legitimately.

They turned him into a copypasta because he told them the truth

Fuck you faggot. I beat Isshin yesterday and I work 9-5 every day.

Treating games like art is why we have so many movies pretending to be games nowadays

>Just don't act like it's equivalent to the experience of beating the game legitimately.
Why does it bother you so much?
Are you autistic?

so you draw the line at cheating? but for some reason you get up in arms if devs don't allow you to mod the game period. alright friend.

Morons, alpha chads play Madden, 2K, COD and other shooters

He was overly dramatic, but correct. The experience is different, and even though he had fun cheating, he arguably cheated himself out of a better experience. There's a difference.

It does actually, they're trying to ruin future games and it only got this bad because we gave them the benefit of the doubt
Clearly we need to RISE UP more often

its god damn hard mode on console

Attached: 1554527333595.jpg (768x1024, 233K)

Creative bankruptcy is not an argument for sterilizing an industry even further of any artistic integrity remaining.

>If it costs money you should be allowed to see and play everything in the game, period.
false. if you cant beat an arcade game with 1 quarter you either insert another one or get good. video games should be MUCH much more difficult considering you have infinite tries and no staff is gonna come and shoo you away for hogging the cabinet.

It's not a pride thing or anything like that, it's just the truth that it's different.

>There's nothing wrong with using hacks or cheats and playing around with the game even if you suck at it.
There's also nothing wrong with just dropping it if you can't beat it.
>Just don't act like it's equivalent to the experience of beating the game legitimately.
That's where I'm agreed on in regards to the article.
Hell I miss when general cheats were a thing and creative.

ITbhurts the industry since devs just start making the core gameplay easier, meaning it becomes more and more difficult to find a game that has meaningful difficulty

It exists already and it's called Google user ;^)
Oh, their definition of bullshit is different from yours? Well tough, vae victis.

For single player sure whatever
Multiplayer where you’re cheating can ruin my experience
No kill yourself faggot

Attached: 05FE1EE4-30EE-4B7E-9841-0B495D9148E5.jpg (153x175, 6K)

You're conflating two things that are not comparable. "Combating rentals" makes the game harder, it doesn't make the game "broken". Again, just admit you're cheating with save states. It's okay if you're not as good as the rest of us who can beat the developer intended difficulties. There's no shame in it.

>have mediocre body
>show it off
>you're still desirable to almost everyone

I fucking hate women.

Worse, they chased out everyone who actually liked the job

this is usually a shitty excuse, nobody says you have to marathon it faggot. there's no difference between playing this game for x amount of time versus any other, if it lasts you weeks of playing a little bit every few afternoons then so be it, there's no problem if it's fun and is the same time you would be spending on easier games instead. what you really mean is you just want those hours to be an unthinking movies instead of an engaging game, and you feel that you should be able to just breeze through the game in a short period of time. maybe get better expectations instead of being a pleb

HOWEVER

the plot twist is that in this case I actually agree, because sekiro is not a game worth doing this with, it just wastes your time lel. being blown out constantly in dwarf fortress feels worth it, in sekiro it's just a worthless and boring drag

wads are pretty based but iddqd gets pretty boring after a while yeah sounds about right

Then dont play them.
>I've played every game in a series I fundamentally have a problem with.
Again bitching 24/7. Why talk shit about a mechanic in a GAME you DO NOT have to play. God your such a fucking fag. Any time I haven't liked a mechanic or a game in general I have never, NEVER, talked shot about it on an image board like a cry baby, fuck off, fuck off with from games, fuck off with your pathetic life, an hero to save your entire family from embarrassment, because talking about how they're little girl (boy) killed himself will be easier than explaining why your still alive.

They are faggots and their opinion is worthless

2019.

Its a fucking single player game. Why does it matter if someone cheats?

thanks for stating the obvious. Had Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice been a multiplayer game, I wouldn't have said that.

Attached: 1489153932521.jpg (546x455, 34K)

>video games need to be braindead because its the current year

Lol show me one (1) example of a journalist who calls him disgusting

Disability trumps "toxic gamer" in the hierarchy

In 2019 you can just set the amount of lives anyway with console ports of arcade games like metal slug, so it's all good

twitter.com/sonic_hedgehog/status/1115674026628636673

i agree with you. i kinda like the game but its very painful on vanilla ps4 so i just kinda play it every now and then. the initial rush the first week to beat it wore off and now i am just taking my time anyway.
if i get mad i just turn it off and go do something else

Attached: twjoker.jpg (768x433, 33K)

It doesn't. Why do you need to write an entire article about how it's okay to cheat?

This pretty much. The only problem I can see is if people try and talk like they beat it normally when they didn't because fuck them honestly.

I have a full time job and I beat sekiro in like 6 days. stop being a bitch.

Who cares

More than people will ever care about you.

same category as anons getting their ass kicked, read a guide or get a cheese method online, come in here and act like it was ez and look down on others for having trouble

Or write a “combat tips” guide at that while you had to cheat

I'm sure that sounded like a sick own in your head.

Lets be real about this, game journalists obviously want to stigmatize hard games while simultaneously normalizing cheats because they want their jobs to be easier. They want to be able to brainlessly mash through new, popular games so they can write their reviews easier, and they don't want developers to make skill intensive games or include anti-cheat systems like invincible enemies or "cheater only" endings because again it'll make their job harder. How are they going to write articles on things they're incapable of doing?

This "debate" is nothing but a smokescreen to cover laziness and I'm confused as to why people on social media aren't picking up on it.

>Be Games Journalist
>Your opinion should be considered even if you can't finish game.

explain.

Truth. We have truly horrific, gory, disturbing cinema. Completely over th to sweet romance and drama shows. Why is that just because it games, specific areas like challenging games should cater to everyone? Make any handicap you want, figure out for yourself how to make it accessible for you, but don't try to define what it should be and try to make the creators adapt to you. It's just so short minded and selfish, so bereft of initiative to grow and adapt.

>because they want their jobs to be easier
If only it was so innocent
No, this went "viral" for a different reason

Only when they ain't busy playing with your Mom

who cares indeed? why did the writer feel the need to put out an entire article trying to defend themselves about how they played a video game? clearly they don't feel fine if they have to go out of their way to announce that they cheated to the world

cuz it too hard

You cheated not only the game, but yourself.

You didn't grow.
You didn't improve.
You took a shortcut and gained nothing.

You experienced a hollow victory.
Nothing was risked and nothing was gained.

It's sad that you don't know the difference.
