By that time, you should already have cooldown reduction and/or have your turrets be able to kill everything fast enough to defend themselves.

Getting bored with lack of item variety. Every run feels the same because the only things worth picking up are glasses/syringes/ukes/stickies. Hope they redress item balance but shit like monster teeth and first aid kits might as well not exist.

No different than RoR1 where all anyone did was play with command on.

monster tooth is god tier on glass

it's just more fun to get what you want, and it doesn't ruin the game because the real challenge is still skill-based endurance

I really shouldn't stick to just one character. How are you meant to fight Magma Worms with this guy though, the dicks spend 90% of their time miles up in the air and you're left flipping around all the basic enemies for most of the fight.

I didn't and I didn't join Yea Forums rooms that did. Considering it's an optional artifact and not the default gameplay it isn't really much of an argument either. Glass and funballs were objectively the best artifacts. Command was for babs that couldn't handle not autistically handcrafting their build to be as op as possible.

Ride the worm with your R, then M2, then E, then M2, then R. You can get a lot of damage on them doing this as they're coming up and down. If you have a bunch of mags, feathers, or maybe even bandoleers or just all 3 you can basically zoom around the sky for minutes at a time effortlessly, which makes damaging worms a cake. Really the biggest issue with worms is that a merc sometimes won't have the items to survive the fire damage of being near it for long periods of time.

I can pass on command but all the other 4 artifacts that Yea Forums lobbies ran were great. having chests only drop from elites made the game flow so much better, and now with the maps being fairly large 3d areas to explore it can take forever to comb over all that shit

I only play on Monsoon so long road hasn't happened yet, best I've done is 18 stages. Didn't help that I mostly play Merc and get surprise blazed for 99% of my deaths.

Oh I'm not trying to make excuses, I know I'm shit. I'm still trying to figure out how long to scavenge the first stage/farm it for experience. I tend to leave it at around 8 minutes but it seems way too long. Any shorter though and I'll only have a couple of items going into stage 2. I'm just unsure how to properly balance items with time.

You need to understand that the people who flock to big community discords to talk and hang out with people have no friends of their own and are literally amoeba. The Discord was made with the intention of getting feedback on the game. Use it for that and nothing else.
