the visual novel that I'm working on

There was something unique about that rts. Shame it never caught on.

I though I played it too but I guess I was mistaken.

I always think about how I could wreck these threads with freeware from the 90's bullshit but then I realize how retarded that is and also some older asshole could one up me with stupid shareware 80's garbage. Anyway I win the internet here you go.

Is that a slav thread? Because I played all of them.

If it didnt fall for the Final Fantasy meme for the combat and wasn't a getting lost simulator it could have been a classic,

>Slob Zone
You mean H.U.R.L.
Fun game as a kid tho

I know this game as H.U.R.L.

Holy shit, I didnt know there was a 3D sequel. I got the first one in some backyard sale, loved the shit out of it when I was 8.

Is this that game Something Awful ripped apart when they still did shitty Vidya reviews?

why doesn't anyone do a futuristic ARPG today, it's all just fantasy crap.

I really enjoyed it, played it on release

I have this game on steam but never played it, is it cool?

branching storylines, interactive menus
>play
yes

Yes, it's also one of the funniest games ever made

It was great

Has anyone played this series? Is it fun?

Ok guys, since I don't know where to post this.
I played this game on my 486 back in the days. I'll try to describe it as best as I can:

>2d fighting game
>in a coliseum like building
>characters are mythological monsters like
>I disctintly remember a beholder type monster
>I had like a shareware or a demo version

Help me out anons.

It's a more traditionally sci-fi japanese RPG but made by westerners. I thought it was worth experiencing by that novelty alone but it also has some pretty good writing and characters. I felt it dragged a little after halfway though.

>Is it fun?
Yeah, but start with the "prequel" Nocturne.

I used to have a CDrom called "Action Hits" which had bunch of demos. Too bad I can't find that CD anywhere online to buy

Nice, I legitimately forgot I owned it. Guess I'll play it later.

Prey for Death

I own the full version of this game somewhere on my hard drive.

I loved this game as a kid.

Never ever. It's too unique a game for nowaday's consumers.

Not this one dude, it was literally 2d, with pixel graphics, albeit the characters took up most of the screen. There may have been stats involved at the character select screen as well (?).

I played these

yeah, sadly

You must be very proud of yourself.

>nocturne
I honestly love that game but to tell someone to start there because Rayne (Who if I remember isn't even named that despite being the same character canonically) helps The Stranger out for one mission is some hilarious shit.

That's why prequel is in quotation mark.

Sup civvie11, next video on an obscure slav fps when?

not really

I tried this but didn't play it for very long.

How horrifying.

how playable is it with a gamepad?

so its a game from pretty well known indie game maker and its trying to suck on a dick of Thalos Prophecy but sucks enough dick to not even compare.

since it takes a witt to play it, you anime cunts doesnt know it

Why was the music so good.

>"Gamer's Pulse" describes Restricted Area as one of the "Top 10 Most Wanted RPGs." RPGdot.com awards it an 82% rating, claiming "The core gameplay works like a charm, due to well thought out game mechanics supported by a superb interface." Gameindustry.com proclaims "Restricted Area seems to take the best parts of several of my favorite games and puts them into a single product." So what's the lesson to be learned here? Never visit any of those websites, as they're all run by sociopaths who have suffered extensive brain damage resulting from a nearly fatal fall off a haunted hayride.
kek

visual novels have more gameplay than kinetic novels, so yes.

It's an RPG on quake2 engine, don't hold it against it

>kinetic novels
stop using this term because it won't change the fact about VNs not being games.

great game, super underrated

I still want to get a MP lobby of this going.
