EDF 5 (or 4.1) does a good job at making you feel absurdly overpowered. It’s basically Japanese starship troopers but your a shonen character in their last season.

yes he regularly gets his ass handed to him when fighting more overpowered characters, but that's part of the fun of wolverine:
