Or you never were hit that bad in the first place, since that hit represents the character hitting 0 HP and fainting/dying/whatever, and the potion only recovers your combat energies and minor wounds?

Good healing items balance is heal over time but no stacking the heal time (ie: ideal healing is waiting for the last healing items to finish before using the next)
Stops people from spamming all their healing items and the people who do get fucked
iirc pubg did this with their bandages
