All the SJW shit came from Analytics and marketing. Both decided that SJW was the way to go. Exec's gave them a shot. They failed.
Expect the next year to be more of the same, simply due to inertia. Expect 2020 to see substantial changes, especially with the BF series. Keep in mind that its strictly SJW stuff, games will still be casualized, but thats the way of things. If you really want to know what broke it, it was the battle royals that did it, they proved you dont need it to sell, you just need core gameplay.
