Game drops frames because it runs underclocked at laughable 222mhz profile for whatever reason on Vita instead of at full clock speed.
With CFW you can force full speed and it never drops frames.

Citation needed, not to mention they got rid of far more than that and that "filter" (it's real time shading like in Valkyria Chronicles, not a filter) is integral part of the worldbuilding, eat shit.
