This aesthetic could have fit with the idea of Donte having a fractured mind from being tortured by demons and some mental illness type diagnosis and demon interaction nullifying medication that stops him going into Limbo.
I dropped DmC after about 4 levels, not to be edgy but because the platforming sections were boring me, and I feel like there was a huge compromise and change in the story that meant some elements weren't as coherent as they should have been.
youtu.be/xoE_6nza-TU Its literally not. If you can't tell, you blew up your retina's by only watching over saturated garbage. Nigga you lyin about colors on the internet, what are you doing with your life.

Me neither for the most part but right now we're just talking about use of color. DMC5's is fucked up because it produces images like that constantly.
Joseph Johnson
The problem in that image is the design of the walls

>Plus 5 is going for a more realistic look compared to past games. Not really. Models look more realistic(bad thing) but the environments are arguably less realistic because of all the filters.
Elijah Bailey
I really can't tell you to give it another chance now that DMC5 is a thing, but some levels and bossfights on turbo mode are actually worth it imho youtube.com/watch?v=Huy2auYOPhQ

The only thing I can say is that DMC5 doesn't look bad but I can't help but feel that the overall look of the game most of the time is boring. When playing DMC3 I had that kind of feeling but at the very least, Dante's jacket was actually red and his overall contrast with the environment was good all the time. DMC4 I had that feeling a lot less

The game is grey m8, why do you think they increased the saturation so much with the sequel
