So when does it get bad? Aside from a couple of shit squadmates and some repetitive environments I'm having fun

The voice acting on some of the characters was the only redeeming feature.

Nah he's a whiny bitch and those exist in large numbers outside of reddit as well. Like over here

he's a whiny bitch and also reddit humour incarnate

He's the "whiny male character who uses humor to hide a secret/dark past and starts the game with you" that every bioware game has done since they started doing their cookie cutter games

Well fine. In DA2 every character is literally Alistair then

more or less yeah, as i said bioware can only do reddit writing

If you like the beginning of the game then it really won't ever get bad for you. You should keep playing it, you'll likely enjoy the whole thing.

DA2 isn't nearly as bad as it was made out to be. Some of the criticism hurled at it was rightfully deserved, particularly for some of the lazy shortcuts the developers took in regard to dungeon design and relationship building, but the majority of the seething hatred people felt toward it was because it was nothing like its predecessor, as there was a clear shift from Origins being a game wholly intended to be played on PC to DA2 being far more of a console game.

The last game before the fall of Bioware.

Fun reminder critics LOVED this game and fellated the shit out of it

Da2 music is way better than inquisition
