Xenogears

Hahaha what the fuck.

> Those fucking random encounters
They can be high in this game most of the time. 2 steps battle pissed my off but i still completed it.

Kek, I remember that.
For a brief moment before the encounter begins, the game disables the jump button. If you were running to make a jump, you'll just fall down.
IIRC, when playing in the PS1 I would listen closely to the console to hear the CD drive sounds loading the battle ahead of time, to know it was coming. Using emulator savestates eliminate the issue altogether.

Just like every PS1 JRPG, emulate it and fastforward through all the load times and random encounters.

Why are kids these days so ignorant of emulation?

Oh fuck me now...don't REMIND ME! i love the game but that part literately pissed me the fuck off playing it without a emulator.

Where would one find these specific codes?

Well, that's part of the deal with the combat system and it never really gets any better. Or you can do like that ()
user said and use gameshark codes.

It would only work if SE shared it with MonolithSoft, which will never happen.

Xenogears and Parasite Eve deserve it. But I really don't expect any modern JRPG studio, let alone Square, to do them justice.
