I actually wouldn't mind a new, decent zombie/disaster game. There hasn't been one in a long time.
Reminder that valve canned L4d3 (a game that was basically finished) because the team working on it were fighting about...
op please stop, this is embarrassing
>almost finished
>haven't picked an engine yet
so the design document was almost finished, got it
>with ketchup
god please be bait
Porting a finished game to a completely different engine would take more work than just fucking finishing source 2. Nobody would be retarded enough to suggest that.
Sadly, source is a shit engine. The only impressive thing about it was the physics.. I mean it still uses BSPs for levels which are a performance killer
Okay, how about this:
>you're going to a spaghetti restaurant known all over the world for the cheese they grate on top
>the spaghetti is cooked and plated, the sauce is lovingly poured on top, you've had several baskets of garlic brad and you're just waiting for the pasta to come out
>the chef has to top the spaghetti but there's a problem, there's the old cheese which works but is no longer as sexy and cool, then there's the new cheese which hasn't been tested and might not complement the dish
>chef takes so long to grate the cheese that the pasta cools off and you lose your appetite
Now do you get it?
The flat structure is super retarded
structures and hierarchies are natural and needed to get stuff done
Dota2 released in 2012. So all they have done in 7 years is make a fucking failed card game
Care to, uh
care to extrapolate?
imagine being so fat that you look at a video game and see food
