From what I've seen, the Season Pass has 2 additional character and a shit ton of costumes.

You can get these characters (plus some of the costumes) by getting the Early Purchase Bonus + Deluxe version.

So yeah... if you want to get the characters and not wanna shill money for Season Pass, better idea would be to get the Deluxe Version.
