Picked up these bad boys from wal mart for $5. I got two of them, one for work and one for home. Great set of cans, nice mic, very light and comfy. Going a year strong and neither has had any issues. The splitter I had to get for it cost more than the headphones.

Why not just use a gamecube adapter and play on PC? You could do the same for Wii games too, just connect wiimotes via bluetooth and you're good to go with full functionality. No need to have blurry sub-HD versions around if you're using roms anyway.

I've only spent money on things that'll come with me when I move like curtains/paintings/furniture. It's worth the price of a bucket of paint and an afternoon to have comfier rooms though, not like I want to switch out the carpet or anything.

Decide on what sort of look you want (type of wood, maybe glass or metal), then check local shops to see if you can get a deal. I got a solid oak desk in like-new condition for under £30 from a charity place near me, would've easily cost 200+ if I'd jumped straight to buy it new. You'd be surprised how cheap used furniture is.

Wtf do I need a camera for? I shoot regularly, the only reason I have a camera at all is because it came built in to my phone.

I was eyeing the 750 ti since it's less than $100 and all I play is FFXIV and old games, but I need a new gpu for the new expansion since Shadowbringers is switching to dx11 only and 750 ti can do dx11. If I have another pc to work on I just move my mouse and keyboard ontop of my pc and lay it down beside my pc, letting me swap mouse/keyboard and monitor to the new pc for quick testing. You'll be fine, no worries. I have a korean 1070 that's designed for use in internet cafes. It was way cheaper but just means it can comfortably run at 100% usage for 24h+ without issues. Windows doesn't care about where it comes from, the drivers are still all the same. It's just the enclosure and cooling that varies between brands.

Just grab an office chair. They are designed to be sit at for 8+ hours a day. Gaming chairs are a meme. Bucket seats are uncomfortable. Why they try to imitate racing seats is beyond me.

3 boards for the desktop, a frame with 2x4s. My biggest regret are the pipe legs. They are uneven, they are a bitch to clean and paint, and they are expensive. All you really need is a mitre saw, sander, clamps, and drill. A pockethole jig would be helpful as well. Once you have it together, you'll need to poly to finish.

Anytime I feel like being reminded not to waste my life away and become a wage slave I look at something like this for a confidence boost.

Yea it does the trick. I've starting using these things for so much shit because of how easy they are and how stealthy is makes things look.

I just put 4 in each corner of the xbox and it doesn't budge even if you push it hard or hit it.
