Eh I liked Trevor, was a fun character and it felt right to go crazy inbetween missions with him. Just felt weird doing that with Niko, Johnny or Luis, they were so normal.

All GTA protags are shit characters. They're supposed to be basically nobodies who you experience the world through and go rags-to-riches with. In GTAV because they had this nonsense three-protag story, Franklin just got a house and then that was it. Fucking nothing. Then you just get Rick and Morty Crime Adventures and some insanely boring crime drama with Michael.

Lamar ruled though.

Rockstar needs to go back to making good characters without paying attention to these people. The only reason Trevor is a thing is because people had an issue with shooting up a hospital as Niko for some reason.

The taking over territories was a fun idea in san andreas. Unfortunately it became incredibly repetitive and tedious after awhile, but with some adjustments it could have been really good in 5.
