Man, this game is unimaginably tedious...

What did you like any Octopath then?

>implying he bought or played it

>played 100+ hours, complete all 8 paths and every side quest, have all the best gear and leveled all to 90+, quit at the ruins of hornburg
I’m right at the end and I just can’t turn the game back on and finish.

*about Octopath

Octopath Traveler is a boomer game in an era of zoomers.

You don't have to do all 8. You just would benefit from at least 3 allies to help your main one.

>i'm ten minutes away from finishing the game but i just can't do it xD
Are you actually retarded? Just beat the boss.

Nah, all that autistic grinding and overleveling burned me out and I lost all interest. 4/10 game anyway.

I enjoyed it but it definitely needed more time in the oven. It ends up feeling unmemorable because the stories go nowhere interesting and only their lose ends tie into what could be considered the overarching narrative, which is otherwise nonexistent. In the end it feels like it tries to hard to be gimmicky. I would have traded the whole "eight paths" shit for one solid story involving every character. The best parts of the game are what it does the same as most other JRPGs.

I found it to be very shallow, as if the developers were just ticking off boxes on a checklist. Have you played Saga Frontier?
