My pecs get sore after some heavy bench press sessions. Do you keep your shoulder blades retracted when benching?

Do it twice or more in a week, add top sets. Worked for me

Try cable crossovers or dumbbell pec fly and really squeeze your pecs. Next time you bench, remember how to activate pecs
Also retract shoulders and push chest out
