Depends on your definition of "anime" - I've seen a bunch of Japanese animation from the 1920's onwards and enjoyed some of it. Chameko no Ichinichi (1931) would be a good pick if you want to see something cute from long ago.

The first old anime of any real length I especially like is Tezuka's Pictures at an Exhibition (1966), first TV anime I like is the few episodes of the Cyborg 009 (1968) that I've been able to see.

First season of Ashita no Joe. I love pretty much every 70's anime I've seen though.
