No, battles on ww2 were a chaotic total mess, u can shoot your comrade sometimes, u lose your mind, tanks were mostly destroyed by bombers, anti-tank guns, magnetic mines, stuck in mud and abondonned, TDs and SPGs were ok since they just snipe, the rest is wtf.

They're either messing with you, or they're confused. Its the scene at the start of that fight where the BT-42 makes that jump and gets the support tanks to follow it that's based in reality. Note the Fins converted BT-7s into BT-42s
