Guda is worse than Sieg and Hakuno because at least Sieg and Hakuno had an origin story and an arc of where they're going with antagonists that were foiling them. While Guda is just a self insert who is hanging around other people's journey and story. Gudao is okay. I see a lot of people trashing him but is honestly not bad but also nothing remarkable. He is just some dude trying to do good. Especially because of the type of game is kind of hard to give him more direct traits of personality beyond a few things.

I remember that moment with the whole "you never had eyes for me" or something while Gil was looking at "Enkidu" vs Tiamat. I kinda felt bad for her there but it's not like Gil can control who he loves as well or did it on purpose. I was mostly refering to the the Epic that has historians still discuss the relationship between Gil and Enkidu, whether it include sex or not and who Nasu and even Narita for that matter go around it.

Take Ishtar out of the equation and those events don't happen. And Ishtar is s fundamental part from Gil's myth, even before when Inanna and Gilgamesh weren't even enemies and instead they had a problem based on the disrepect of Gilgamesh and he had to apologize and is forgiven by Inanna.

Not really, Sieg in the LN is only a bit under Shirou in terms of character writing. He doesn't have the strongest most vibrant personality, admittedly, but his arc is genuinely good and he's fully developed by the end of the story being pretty much how he is in FGO but a bit more rigid due to the situation he's in. He and the rest of the Apoc cast got fucked over hard by the anime adaptation and canonrap not finishing volume 5's translation.

He supervised everything and writes 30% of the main story chapters he's not the main writer. He literally explained this shit in an interview, and only the 20% of the events he's not a main writer unless he's busy and can't. I know he barely had a had on Prisma one. We already have a detailed info about how they write FGO: Nasu comes out with the outline, makes the main story characters, writes the prologue, the ending, the story sections, he asks the individual writers assigned to each chapter to make the individual stories of those chapters but before they get uploaded, he rewrites them to tie to the main story and adds that 30% from him. There are chapters he made mostly with little imput from others like the ones you list, but he's in complete control of the creative process unless it's clarified like happened with Epic of Remnants (where he trusted people but indeed gave them some elements to foreshadow that would be useful for next part).

The Lion King is a "what if" made real via the instabilities of the timeline. "What if Bedivere didn't return Excalibur to the lake?" This wasn't caused by a Holy Grail, it was an impossible event brought about by the Human Order's deterioration. There is no reality in which Bedivere fails to return Excalibur to the lake. His refusal to do so is absolutely incompatible with the timeline.
