Holy Church is too militaristic. They're just a group of self-righteous killers.

Based on what we've seen of the Holy Church, it's a deeply impersonal and primarily militaristic organization. Individual members don't really mingle and there are few in the way of friends. Those of different groups don't interact with each other much at all. For instance, Ciel of the Burial Agency and Riesbyfe of the Vestel Shield Knights met for the first time in Actress Again. The Burial Agency, seen as a group of heretics, are pretty much hated or looked down on by the rest of the Church despite their power. It seems to be a pretty sterile, cold environment.

Shut the fuck up. The Saber Alter vs. Berserker fight was like 10 minutes long. It was two fucking screens in the VN.

I think that's the beauty of it. It's such a souless, grating song and it plays for so long during his opressive mologues. It has a genuine psychological impact on the reader

I'm not the Sakuraanon. I agree that it's dissapointing that the adaptation focuses so much on things like this rather than the character-driven things. But i actually mean it when i say that it just can't be helped. Fate has become too big, and the fact is that people like it for the action and waifus. From a standpoint of pleasing as many costumers as possible it's the obvious choice. We always tell people to start the series with the VN but i'm sure the number of VN readers is far outnumbered by anime-only viewers nowdays.

I'd rather not there be an anime. After seeing again the secondary menace latching on the to their newest waifu with the HF movies, I don't want them to move to Caren after that. I reread a lost of HA recently to see if my opinion of Caren changed or not in 5 years but she's still the best, tied with Illya. She also has a perfect voice.

So she is 3 at that time. 10 years later the 5th war and she is now 13. 6 months later, during HA she is 13 and a half. Angra is Shirou, at least when he doesn't bother with politeness. Angra has no personality of his own so he leeched off Shirou's and just did away with the hero stuff. Not to mention, he fucked her in his body beyond just using his personality. If she tests Shirou enough, the part of him that mostly made up Angra would probably appear, kind of like it did before they took on that horde of dead Angras just without his influence.

Shirou acts a lot like a Angra in the epilogue when he's forcefully stripped and drawn up like he was.

Magus Association has more leeway. There's a reason why nearly all Magus Association-related matters tend to center around Waver and his department. Something like that wouldn't really exist in the Holy Church since it's fundamentally a military organization. A hardcore military organization obsessed with killing certain types of creatures.

I personally think that we might get extensions to the scenes we were supposed to get in HF2 but got wormraped by the awful pacing. Like when you think about it, not a whole lot "happens" from this point on and if they keep up the same pacing the movie'll only last maybe an hour or less. Maybe they jntentionally steamrolled to the Berserker fight so the 2nd movie ended right before the Illya cature becase of this, and since theres not much of the plot left, we'd revisit and flesh out Illyas talks with Shirou (or get more), maybe get more backstory for Kirei, and hopefully actually get into the post arm surgery which was oddly butchered for bathtub-kun.

Also kinda hoping they bring back to original OST because they used it in the trailer for HF2 so why not

They made a special sendoff for her with stuff not even shown in the VN, and had her talking with the discarded clones. If anything ufo at least tries to go the extra mile.

People were always talking about how the servants got "shafted" with not so epic fights in HF, so they did something nice. Let's say they shaved that down, think as a director would and ask yourself if they would be able to fit in any else in a satisfying way and you probably can't.

Even Shirou told him to shut the fuck up when he tried to monologue after he caught him in his lies about Sakura later on. Shirou may be dense sometimes, but he becomes really savvy when pissed. Was so sweet when he punched Kirei in the mouth when he admitted he was calculating everything.

Yeah some guy mentioned this same idea, and it makes enough sense to buy it, but we'll see. I really liked the bathtub scene, it's great, and is actually the movie's version of the two scenes in which Shirou takes off the shroud, since Rin gave Kirei's infodump. I don't know why so many people are so attached to Kirei giving that infodump, other than the slight implication that Rin performed the surgery, Rin giving that infodump is good.
