Andrew Hughes
Suika a cute
Kayden Brooks
That's Kohaku's job until Suika gets old enough
Chase Price
SUIKA=CUTE
Isaac Flores
Kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii?
Samuel Ross
>loli is the cutest girl
why is this allowed
Adam Rivera
Apex squint
Adam Collins
Fuck off back to your thread, Mike.
This is the STONE WARUDO, user. Suika is more than old enough.
Zachary Williams
She can't make babies yet, don't be stupid user. Kohaku can, so she will have to do for now.
Camden James
Moe deconstruction
Aaron Morris
>let's make glasses so that you don't have to live wearing this shitty melon on your head
>use melon as glasses frame
Senku has a really sick sense of humor
Camden Bennett
Well Senku does throw flirtatious older boy faces towards Sukia a lot. All poor Kohaku gets is insults and cockblocking.
William Morgan
If he says ten billion one more fucking time...
Luke Russell
It's not about the melon, it's to improve child labour force.
Nicholas Hall
You can't stop him, he's gonna do it
He got that phrase from his dad
Joshua Wilson
Kaseki finally makes his appearance in anime, and he looks so based
Jason Perry
Kaseki is a cool mother fucker.
Jeremiah Smith
Sulfur-chan next i guess, can't wait.
Hudson Barnes
Based
William Hughes
They actually pulled it off. One of my favorite parts from the manga.
Also we finally got to meet Kaseki. His voice actor is top notch, exactly what I wanted him to be.
Nathan Clark
The absolute madmen actually did it justice.
Henry Foster
He's inspired by the best, after all.
Justin Bell
>She can't make babies yet
that's the perfect reason for her do it
Parker Thompson
Suika is the only character that looks good with the bug eyes
John White
>sweaty panting Ginro
T-thank you based anime ;_;
Blake Hall
Jiji absolutely based.
Juan Davis
Luke Cook
All these girls are young. It just throws you off cause they have pinup bodies. Turquoise is a grown woman, she doesn't have those eyes.
Mason Perez
Great use of My Team's Amazing when Kaseki is doing glasswork. One of the best songs in the soundtrack.
Aaron Barnes
Stone has best soundtrack this season
William Ward
>tfw she sees Senkuu's massive cock for the first time
Evan Perry
I thought this moment was pretty underwhelming in anime to be honest.
Now every scene with Kaseki was absolutely based, so it kinda balances out.
Zachary Gonzalez
You're goddamn right
youtu.be
Adam Baker
Jackson Hill
CUTE!
Xavier Morris
>smile protected
>SSR Suika unlocked
Gavin Bailey
And this video don't even have the best ost of the anime, I'm so mad the lion escape ost isn't there, but it should be in a ost disc 2, there's too many soundtracks in the anime for them to not make a second.
Elijah Watson
>despite my village being at stake, I will willingly stay weaker than I really is because muh pride
Is Kinrou one of those characters women will never understand?
Luis Sanders
what the fuck when did they get diamond?
Jayden James
Yeah we didn't see the before / after with the dog and senku chrome
John Green
They didn't.
Brayden Cruz
Oo boy you're in for a treat
Juan Martin
Chrome always had a piece of corondium in his collection.
Nathaniel Wilson
is this SSSR Suika?
Jackson Cook
He unlocks his hidden potential and arguably becomes stronger than Kohaku
Thomas Scott
Cooper Sanders
>muh minecrack reference
Luke Perez
uguu
Isaac Smith
>"Let me do it"
Robert Cooper
Should've sent Kaseki to fight Magma.
Sebastian Williams
is it gonna be 12 or 24 eps bois?
Josiah Reyes
Kaseki is so god damn based I want him to adopt me and teach me how to make shields and stuff.
Jaxon Campbell
24
Connor Hall
He's supposed to be weaker than Magma and Kinrou. He's not a fighter either.
Andrew Torres
Wait wasn't Gen gonna get cola or something this episode?
Xavier Campbell
i want to shove the metal pipe inside suikas pussi and make a glass wear with it
Kayden Kelly
cola is next episode or the one after, that's why they made glass this episode
Samuel Ortiz
Can't give him a bottle of cola without the bottle to put it in
Nathan King
Ah okay
Adam Johnson
When he comes back. You need glass for a bottle of pop. They're working towards it. Cola us a byproduct of the antibiotic road
Austin Morgan
Funnily enough cola was originally made by a drug company
Jaxon Morales
I want Senkuu to tell me everything is going to be alright, then impregnate me.
Bentley Walker
Can't they make metal cans?
Brayden Brown
He asked specifically for a bottle of cola
Connor Parker
Pregnancy is a disease.
Abortion is the cure.
Hudson Parker
C-cute
Kayden Powell
they can't make aluminum with the shitty generator they have, and cola would taste like shit out of an iron can
Grayson Sullivan
Cola is likely to be in 2 or 3 episodes
Sebastian Thompson
Akikan taught me that steel cans are superior.
They are also going to need cans as preservatives once winter comes.
Asher Lopez
You need glass to work with chemicals anyway
Easton Diaz
They can just use bottles instead of cans for preservatives
Leo Morgan
If only he had his cig hanging on the other side of his mouth, the smoke could have looked like it came from the friction of the towel
Blake Cooper
Have you ever been this erect?
Caleb Hughes
In 7 eps
Liam Flores
Glazed ceramics like porcelain work fine.
Benjamin Taylor
Kaseki's engineer autism was hilarious.
Sebastian Barnes
Suika is an ugly loli whore. I really prefer if she kept that melon on her head
Julian Powell
How did anime made every character more likable with the exception of Kinro?
Tyler Phillips
Anyone has that major screwup the anime did on the iron forge last episode?
Nathaniel Anderson
Why settle for worse when you can advance civilization and further progress? Glass is super useful in every way
Bentley Gutierrez
>he doesn't find squinting lolis cute
What an absolute fag
Josiah Price
the manga did it better by far
blurry senku and chrome were shown for like 2 frames, but it wasnt a before and after
i think it was blurry because of suika's tears or something
Leo Stewart
>"This is my gift for you, Senku...my souvenir from space"
Juan Scott
>make tongs first
>make bar second
>major screwup
I laugh every time
Logan Cruz
Cute melon
Camden Jenkins
There was no screwup, they melted the copper way after melting iron
Plenty of time to make some thongs
Luke Clark
>thongs
No underwear allowed in this new world
Josiah Lee
Great episode
Jayden Turner
Oops
Jack Howard
Senkuu is going to teach her things she's too young to understand.
Asher Brooks
They certaintly did the actual making of the glasses better by having them actual test it on her while making it to get it right
Justin Rogers
Not when fire force exists sorry
Austin Powell
I have a weakness for an amalgam between aboriginal instruments and hip hop/jazz sensibilities so I prefer it to Fire Force.

Thomas Morris
I want to use Suika for child labor.
Jason White
No wonder Kohaku is so wet for Senkuu. He's going to be a great father.
Jordan Murphy
It's in the manga, user.
Jack Bell
I want to fuck Kohaku AND Kirisame.
Xavier Thompson
So what other spreads/pages do you look forward to other than cola
Juan Adams
Huh, I must have somehow forgotten that page
Dylan Morgan
>at the same time
Based
Hudson Ortiz
Cute twink getting penetrated and deflowered by 5 long extremities
Ryder Wood
Best girl (that the anime will cover) next episode.
Cooper Perry
Asher Cruz
most of the best pages are past what the anime will cover
>tons of funds acquired
>pic related
>NO LIES and Ginrou getting deflowered
Gabriel Collins
Too soon, user, too soon.
James Myers
Jacob Butler
I want to insert my fat dick into his boipussy.
Wyatt Phillips
Cut it out Jafar
Lincoln Lee
>animeonlies will never be able to experience pic related
Eli Hughes
IMAGINE
Owen Perry
Will any of the primitive people join Tsukasa or oppose Senku? Because modernizing will pretty much erase their way of living and unpetrifying a bunch of people way smarter than them will take away their authority.
Bentley Myers
Please just make babies already, I can't take this anymore
Gabriel Mitchell
Their authority on what ? It's not like they're a kingdom or something
Matthew Myers
>Will any of the primitive people join Tsukasa
No
>or oppose Senku?
Yes
Grayson Taylor
plenty of the villagers oppose Senku, but none of them join Tsukasa
Juan Russell
as of now they left both sides to their own devices while they went on a trip far away. They reintroduced capitalism before leaving. How either side will integrate over extended periods is still a mystery.
Tyler Martin
>modernizing will pretty much erase their way of living
Yeah, they all rebel once they realize how much they miss famine and other shit.
Ian Roberts
too bad he's asexual
Jace Butler
Rape is the only solution
Landon Ward
From Senku's point of view a female raping you is a faster way to reproduce.
Blake Clark
C-Cute!
Xavier Lee
God, what a fucking stone cold baller.
Brody Wright
Didn´t know the villagers were aliens all along
Jackson Rodriguez
well, they are descended from space travelers
Dominic Barnes
Suika is so cute bros
Jack Brooks
Pedophilia is a civilized construct meaning Suika could bounce on my dick in the stone age.
Landon Powell
>Suika cant read
Cooper Fisher
Unironically looks less like a fucking mutant than Kohaku the Korean.
Austin Garcia
Kohaku is still a little girl. When She grows up she'll have eyes like Turquoise, relax.
Carson Morris
Ginro is how I imagined Thorfinn would have been if he hadn't gone on that voyage with his dad.
Tyler Long
They do come from space
Angel Hall
SUIKA = CUTE
Jeremiah Cooper
>best girl next episode
Nice!!
Sebastian Stewart
Ginrou was already introduced though
Justin Nelson
Wow!
What a twist!
Jonathan Wood
And funny
Jonathan Ortiz
Implying anyone in that village can
Nicholas Brooks
where do you guys think this came from?
Jason Clark
So it activates by being thrown into rays of sunlight / moonlight?
Brandon Wright
Senkuu had to use shapen
John Collins
i do agree with you, i think senku would be a great dad
Alexander Lee
He did have a really great dad himself.
Henry Evans
Yeah, this was (one of) my favorite scenes in the manga but not so in the anime. Needed a harder orchestral flourish with the music during the sunflower (rather than mere contrast with silence before it) and perhaps some sparkly effects, rays of sunshine bouncing off it, not merely nice art.
Cameron Cruz
good episode
Wyatt Ortiz
They did it justice within the budget available. Particle and sunray effects can be time consuming and expensive.
Xavier Robinson
It was fine, and to be fair the whole anime looks great so the biggest problem is this scene didn't look greater than average.
Noah Hall
>the whole anime looks great
It looks pretty bland and soulless, but maybe I have heightened expectations after KnY anime.
Angel Rivera
Dude, what? I agree KnY looks great but it's all in the dark and shit. Compare the backgrounds of Dr Stone and KnY it's night and day literally and figuratively. Dr Stone looks and sounds almost as good as Made in Abyss.
Gavin Miller
It looks great because of art direction. It doesn't have a huge budget and it shows, lots of static images with little animation.
Dominic Evans
Good episode. Time for Sulfur-chan next week.
Landon Johnson
kimetsu adaption is horrible
Brayden Ross
>implying it's not the alphabet of the village
Caleb Johnson
Is this the best isekai of the season after Arifureta?
Adam Butler
William Nelson
>taking the effort to shape a bottle
you know there are still things like jars that are used to store different things in them
Joshua Johnson
>glass is tough and durable
I thought this was based around real world science,
Landon Wilson
Told you they will slow down
Kayden Bennett
>take Hiruma from Eyeshield
>give him the good heart and emotional maturity of Ken
>get one of the most charismatic MCs in any shonen
I love Senku.
Eli Martinez
Try to sit on a glass bottle and check its durability.
Isaac Howard
He's talking about it decomposing, you're just an idiot
Henry Parker
He's based on Agon
Ryder Parker
It'd shatter under my obese weight.
Benjamin Morales
This show is comfy as hell, I have no idea why people got so obnoxious in hating it. I guess that's the popular Jump effect.
Also Suika is way cuter than I expected and I need porn of her
Sebastian Jackson
Senku is by far the best MC of any shonen manga I've ever read, it's hard to even think of competition
Nathaniel Jones
I don't see it.
Dominic Cox
He's a dick around Taiju, but they're best friends since forever and still have an emotional bond. It's the case of judging by the cover
Ryder Peterson
>dr stone looks almost as good as MiA
stone man is one of my favorites this season but it looks nothing as good as MiA did
Jack Barnes
otaquest.com
>eyes of research
Daniel Reyes
This week's chapter was fire.
Robert Stewart
you know there are actually stairs made pretty much entirely from glass
many companies also work on making for glass to be used as construction parts not just decoration
Ayden Martinez
It's native isekai
Elijah Baker
Based Inagaki works from ethos and archetype. My comparison seems shallow now. Thanks for correcting me user.
Nathaniel Moore
Naruto is a native isekai
Connor Russell
It's 2 court so it will most likely have a disc 2
Caleb Jenkins
>kimetsu adaption is horrible
user really?
Aiden Walker
>Senku is by far the best MC of any shonen manga I've ever read, it's hard to even think of competition
he is just the overly competent MC (it was pretty common in old anime/manga)
Logan Hall
He is pretty down to earth and is nowhere near the "chosen one". Nothing comes naturally to him, and he usually needs cast members in order to achieve anything. That's what I assume that user means.
Camden Perry
What even is the appeal of Dr. Bazinga? It's just pseudo-science and asspulls.
Jacob Adams
Senkuu barely survived on his own, people=power, he only supplies the ideas and later some designs he makes are improved by more capable people in their own field of expertise. He doesn't even come up with all the ideas.
Elijah Lopez
And the first dedicated shitposter is here guys.
It was good while it lasted.
Ethan Jackson
Took longer than I expected.
Jose Turner
Cute boys and some plot intrigue on the background, something about petrification or whatever. But mostly cute boys.
Grayson Wood
It's way better than KnY and MIA.
Nolan Johnson
Are you one of those autists with hateboner for CGI?
Julian Adams
How the fuck does Kaseki, some cave man, manage to craft glass better than Senku when he's never seen glass before?
Ryan Adams
Go suck on berserk.
Carter Adams
there are a lot of factors to it in my eyes
>extremely competent but in specific ways that still require him to lean on other characters for support when he's out of his element
>eternal optimist who never gives up no matter how dire the situation (not exactly a rare trait for shonen characters but Inagaki does it better than most in my opinion)
>genuinely good guy but not afraid of lying to and manipulating people if it'll lead to the "right" outcome
>smug as fuck and backs it up every time he gets the chance
maybe I just don't read enough shonen but I've yet to encounter a main character with that combination of traits, he reminds me more of Artemis Fowl than any shonen character
Parker Wood
>he doesn't like big bang theory or it's anime adaptation
cringe
Angel Smith
>asspulls
Just like every mangas, dumbass ?
Noah Cooper
>What even is the appeal
I just fucking like it ok that's all there is to it
Wyatt Ramirez
How the fuck does my cousin, a 40 year old illustrator use a wacom so well when he'd never seen one before?
Zachary Evans
Tell that to Miura.
Asher Green
>anime only shitposters came home from school
See you guys next week
Christopher Adams
Look up Prince Albert's Drop, glass can be amazingly strong but will shatter if it gets hit on structural weak point.
Tyler Thomas
>Implying being able to read is necessary for a japanese eye chart.
Justin Carter
The point is the attention to detail. They fucked it up ep 9 with Kujaku's choppu stixu.
Brandon Morris
OH SHIT HERE I COME SUIKA
Jackson Ramirez
Like rotational computation with quaternions?
Jose Williams
>android navigation buttons
Wyatt Kelly
Korean?
Cooper Gonzalez
Glass, like plastic, has grades.
en.wikipedia.org
Lucas Long
Another kino episode bros
Evan Hernandez
Jars are just big bottles
Joseph Ramirez
Flat-faced.
Luis Hall
Talent
Justin Jackson
Ah. I guess I enjoy Korean faces then.
Ian Anderson
>Prince Rupert's drop
ftfy
Joshua King
>pseudo-science
What?
Justin Hall
science I dislike
Elijah Morris
How do you suggest they could produce glass frames?
Dominic Hernandez
Bend a piece of copper? They have wires from the generator.
Jacob Walker
they do it with wood
Aiden Harris
And make her lose her detective and espionage ability?
Jaxon Gray
Read the fucking manga
Luke Nguyen
she cute
Aiden Price
As a glassesfag this ep hit me like a sack of potatoes
Oliver Sullivan
Tsukasa's kingdom should have collapsed long time ago. They have no education, no science, no medicine. Diseases alone would have already killed half of them.
Eli Hughes
Someone quarantine this fuzzy-eye disease carrier before he infects the whole thread.
Wyatt Turner
Gin penetrated from behind.jpg
Charles Powell
Same user, when I first read the manga it instantly brought me back to when I was 9 and we went to pick up my glasses and how clear the world looked on the way back home.
Gabriel Morgan
She was so happy through the rest of the episode. She could help out like she always wanted to.
I don't understand how anyone could hate Senkuu after this ep.
Zachary Gutierrez
Figures, though i thought that making a somewhat believable wood frame would take some time and some new materials but it's not like this series hasn't taken some liberties in order to quickly advance to the next goal.
Christopher Hernandez
>meanwhile in the Uuga booga empire
>"me Grugkasa punch rock hard"
>"me do good"
Easton Price
youtu.be
>behind the scenes
Jaxson Richardson
I just listened through the OST.
Holy shit. It's so good.
Matthew Sanders
I doubt it had any organisational structure to be called kingdom in the first place.
Matthew Adams
official release out btw
mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp
Grayson Diaz
people still watch that shit?
Bentley Johnson
My favorite track:
youtu.be
Jason Powell
I watch it every friday at 9:30 am GMT-5
Easton Harris
I'd risk disobeying Ibara just to see Kirisame flash me. Do what you need to do after that, I'd go out a fulfilled man.
Cooper Cook
Dr. Stone is simply fucking great. A fantastic story about not fearing the unknown but instead facing it with open arms. It recontextualizes things from our contemporary life we constantly take for granted and lets us appreciate the sheer magnitude of human progress. It's an optimistic, life-affirming series made with pure love for mankind at every turn and every friday I feel glad I was ever born.
Josiah Campbell
So a question for the experts, what happened with all the nuclear plants around the world? Specifically speaking, how is Fukushima looking like 3700 years later?
Nolan Brooks
Way too slow to be honest.
By episode 24 they'd have adapted not even half of the published chapters.
David Bailey
They intend to animate the first arc, that is 1-45.
Ian Wright
You are dumb
Cameron Martin
There's zero chance we only get to 45 at this rate, we'll end somewhere in the middle of stone wars
Luke Miller
Some have a failsafe and automatically shut down, shitholes went nuclear, in 3700 years the radiation levels would go down. Hopefully when they go to South America we encounter some mutants
Cooper Peterson
that's disgusting
i wish i hadn't seen it
Josiah White
My prediction-we end at chapter "and onward to modern day" meaning best acid will be the finale for both cours.
Dylan Gonzalez
is this yuri
Mason Collins
They were doing 3 chapters per anime episode but the last two have been 2.
Cameron Morgan
Welcome to our world
Adam Martin
sunflowers are cute
they are nothing like lotus seeds
Oliver Green
What happened to all the Senku bashing back when Dr. Stone first aired? Is everyone starting to latch onto the idea that he's actually a good person now that they've seen more of him?
Jason Sanders
They'd have to slow down to 1 chapter per episode if they want to end at the flashback reveal, it'd never happen.
Cooper Rogers
It has everything, straight, yaoi, yuri, loli, you name it.
Dominic Moore
Senku has a terrible introduction. He seems obnoxious and condescending at every turn. It's when you start knowing his moral fiber and actually very emotive personality that you start appreciating him
Lucas Miller
>judging a book by its cover syndrome
Alexander Rogers
You want them to adapt 3 every episode without taking into account good stopping points or how dialogue heavy the chapters are, but that's not how it works. The pacing has been good so far, it doesn't feel slow or rushed at all
Parker Hughes
Pretty cool that they took the time to actually make some glass.
Daniel Anderson
Yes
Julian Stewart
>25 minutes
Thank you based user.
Brandon Miller
His moral compass was pretty clear from the start. How much of a retard can someone be judging a character just by what they say, especially when this is motherfucking shonen
Parker Ward
>back when
The same thing that happens to all early shitposting of popular things: the shitposters lost interest.
Daniel Morris
I'm just explaining why someone wouldn't like Senku at first then love him later.
I love him ever since I read Stone World: the Beginning and the lightbulb part. Didn't care much for him before that.
Easton Sullivan
Remember where you are user
Ian Cox
No shota though.
Oliver Miller
We know tsukasa
Jonathan Mitchell
And that's a good thing. We got traps, reverse traps, crossdressing, harems, zoophillia and a bunch of other things instread
Carter Martin
I hadn't thought about all the sexual shit it has. Is Boichi doing that on purpose?
Carson Howard
yes
>fondling his testiclees as he proclaims he will dab all over the enemy
Leo Myers
I actually think the whole "fight unga bungas" story is shit and it should all focus on just showing these stone age people how fucking hardcore humanities advancements really are
it's actually an INSANELY "feel good" anime cause it just puts into perspective how absolutely NUTS we humans really are
Kevin Moore
That's why everyone considers the prologue the weakest part. Even tho there will be a literal tournament it won't lose the feel good feeling. It's going to last r eps max. Everything is fast paced.
Joseph Morales
Damnit user, you actually made me drop a tear.
Jacob Campbell
Last chapter she pretty much admitted that Senku is the only type of guy she likes.
Asher Torres
>Not subbing the OP's lyrics until the last 2 episode of the 1st cour when it'll change in the next cour
Good job CR. Not the first time this happens too
Jayden Wilson
Jackson Miller
Looking for art on twitter I see people saying how badly they want to go back to the stoneage. Meanwhile they watch an MC doing everything to get out of the stone age.
Are these people being ironic?
Jeremiah Bennett
Suika is saving herself for Ryuusui
Zachary Peterson
Why are you checking the english tag for art?
Leo James
I was pretty sure that they tried 2 or 3 different glasses on Suika. Kinrou was the one that just slapped the first pair of glasses that he could get on his face.
Cameron Morris
I usually check the english, japanese and dcst.
Some westerners make ok art too.
Isaac Barnes
Yes, but I want them to fuck.
Dominic Brown
Ryusui wouldn't fuck suika now, he would feed her and groom her to make sure that she grows into a beautiful woman totally devoted to him. When her desire to give her virginity to Master Ryusui, he will grant it.
Luis Cruz
what's unique about Senku is the author is smart enough to pull off a smart character.
The typical trope of a smart character is someone who does impossible things almost by magic, because the author is a brainlet who has no conception of what it means to be smart.
Ryan Jenkins
Stop touching yourself
Sebastian Sanchez
Why is this anime so comfy, god damn
Dylan Anderson
The manga is the same way. Then shit hits the fan instantly and out of nowhere.
Ian Ross
Boichi writing style
Adam Fisher
Michael Carter
Inagaki*
Juan Moore
Cause he's spent decades making things with various materials. He watched them do it, could understand what they were trying to do, and was able to see the clumsy mistakes they were making in their attempts, all he did was correct their mistakes after seeing the process and then made a few intuitive leaps from there.
Nathan Howard
He's not a "master craftsman" for nothing.
Gabriel Miller
Nolan Bell
It breaks down the things you take for granted and shows you how fucking amazing they are, what humans went through to finally gain them, and doesn't forget to show failures or the immense creativity, effort and hard work it takes to finally get there.
Once they do get there, it also shows you what effect these achievements have for people who never experienced them before, the ramen stand is such a great example, senku experienced better, everyone didn't.
Also, the super genius MC doesn't look down on anyone- he values his dumb but honest-to-a-fault friend, appreciates chrome's curiosity in a stone world and actively encourages it, downright admires kaseki, who put his life into developing his skill while not flabbing his mouth.
Dr. Stone is kind of an anti rick and morty, instead of bullshit nihilism science fiction LOL SO RANDUMB, it celebrates effort, building skill or knowledge from zero, teamwork and what it can achieve. Science is also more than accurate enough so far, considering this isn't "instructables: the anime".
I think this is why it's so fucking great and comfy, it wakes up the little curious kid inside of you
Joseph Stewart
Eyeshield 21 has similar vibes in the beginning, the way Hiruma gathers members to join the Devil Bats was similar to Senku convincing villagers to join the Kingdom of Sciene. The art is great too
Hudson Rogers
Asher Cooper
Henry Phillips
why is the opening so skippable but the ending is top tier?
Logan Scott
Ledness aside, i also had a knee-jerk reaction to kohaku's uguu design, but after getting used to it a bit and seeing how the character is she really grew on me. Somehow being both a she-gorilla and so very cute. Nice to have such a character in the main bunch and not the regular useless moeblob
Liam Turner
>Random full-english rapping out of nowhere
I don't understand why they thought rap was the way to go this episode, but it was oddly fitting.
Jackson Thomas
I hate the fact you're right.
Senku also doesn't say "Fuck emotions" or call them meaningless chemicals, he's a way more human character than Rick could ever be.
Camden Clark
Honestly this shit is boring. It's really boring. It was an interesting idea at first but then it becomes le science le combat le we win with science
long winded science explanation then we win haha le funny
the way the artist draws women is cringe
Connor Sanders
Because you want to watch the episode. At the end you ride the high.
Luke Cruz
Did you watch the new episode
Charles Martinez
Don't reply to obvious bait, user.
Isaiah Hill
He's just not the type so talk about his feelings. He doesn't tell others to stop having emotions and still has feelings even if he's not bawling his eyes out every episode.
Luis Johnson
if you ever deal with someone who is not only gifted but also extremely experienced in something, you will see them take something they have never done before and only watched and then completely dominate with it in a crazy short time.
humans are nuts in IRL. the shit we have people doing and the amount of pure talent in the world is basically bonkers but usually entirely overshadowed by the mundane bullshit we deal with
Joshua Stewart
Watched it, and read it
Waste of time
inb4
>HURRRRR ANYTHING I DONT LIKE IS SHITPOSTING HURRRDURRRR
Carson Lewis
Don't watch it then, you know it's 10th episode right ? Have you been watching something you don't like for that long ?
Gabriel Harris
Don't reply to bait
Adrian Lopez
But the character designs do suck. The plot is rote. The premise is garbage.
Aiden Price
The comedic timing always fails is another detractor for me.
Julian Morris
I've stopped watching long ago. I went and read the start and end of the manga and found it was really a hot pile of garbage.
Jason Nelson
I havent even replied and other anons are agreeing with me
the author doesn't know how to write, if you can't write you can't draw a manga/comic
this
"LE FUNNY EPIC BIG FACE XDDD"
Joshua Reyes
Clearly you are retarded to let your uncanny valley detector fail.
Bentley Reyes
How long are you going to keep this act up, contrarian-kun?
Ayden Smith
>tfw urge to see those glasswork videos
Joseph Sanders
The series is literally a string of dumb bullshit science examples with ugly art tying it all together in what is actually just fantasy show with shitty world building.
Jack Reed
I doubt a majority of Yea Forums likes Dr. stone. It is objectively a shitty anime.
Austin Edwards
It's still bait user, notice how there's no examples or reasoning, just claims that could be applied to any story.
William Gonzalez
Being a generic expert doesn't make you an expert at everything (that line of thinking is stupid). Glassworking isn't easy and it is retarded to think someone could just pick it up instantly because they are good at other crafting skills. The obvious answer is the plot demanded it so it happened.
Josiah Johnson
The music direction is garbage it isn't fitting it is just shit music direction. You can tell their sound direction is jank as fuck just from the first few episodes.
Connor Kelly
>Dr. Stone is kind of an anti rick and morty
Let me tell you what it's also the 'anti-' of. It's the anti-isekai.
It seems like most forms of escapism that prey on the readers' inner wish to be an important person do just what you would expect them to: make them overpowered, possessing crucial and novel abilities that will become the center of the plot and continually push it forward. The MC ends up being the crutch on which the rest of the world depends on.
On the surface, Senku would seem to fall into that general category as well, as he hits most of the check boxes.
However, this is misleading. Senku himself is proven to be quite weak outside of his specialty. He is a genius, but unlike the modern isekai mold, he just happens to be a genius in a cast of geniuses: A genius of crafting. A genius of observation. A genius of psychology. A genius of stealth. A genius of endurance. And so on. With every one of them absolutely critical to the plot.
Modern isekai tends to paint the main character as the lone savior. He might strengthen his side cast a bit, but he is still the center while they remain mostly disposable.
Senku is a catalyst, and he gradually makes the hidden talents of those around them hit their highest potential.
Perhaps deep down, many of us don't want to save the world all by ourselves. But we would be happy to help be the key that brings us all together to do the great things we are capable of.
Owen Parker
Yep, and they really rushed it as well. Would have loved to see the gradual development of the village over time instead of this "lmao war lmao science lmao WERE MAKING FUCKING OXYGEN TANKS AND A DRONE"
>HURR IF I DONT LIKE IT, ITS BAAAAAIT WAAAAAAAH
It's a shame he has some decent drawing skills. Wasted on this.
Ian Lopez
It isn't, you juste have shithole tastes. The majority of Yea Forums likes shit, like dbs bc boruto. Just like you.
Evan Gonzalez
thanks for the laugh user, I'm sure you're well spoken irl
>just like you
this is why I come to Yea Forums
Hudson Jackson
Why are pseuds like you so assmad about fun edutainment?
Alexander Butler
You know we can see the number of people that replied to the thread, right? If you're going to samefag shitpost, at least wait a couple of minuets for the counter to go up so it's less obvious
I'm used to seeing retarded things on Yea Forums, but this still boggles my mind.
Samuel Green
Yeah but you wouldn't know, since you don't talk with anyone like the pathetic garbage human you are. Keep fapping to the moeshit contents you like, only thing you know how to do.
John Howard
The observatory is this season, right? The grave scene too. Also ballcrushing at the tournament
Luke White
Retarded shitposter still shitposting everyday, man how sad his life must be.
Asher Gray
I love how Gen's deepest longing is a simple bottle of cola, not some grandiose "make me a working car" or something
Ayden Morgan

Austin Flores
As unhealthy as it is, Cola is great. I'd also be missing it if I got stoned
Luke Stewart
Jonathan Howard
I love Kaseki so much but I'm not sure about his VA. Expected somethibg more manly. The tone change when he gets fired up is handled nicely tho
Ayden Baker
Oh I see lmao, well don't mind that, just consider this was aimed at the retard samefag instead, but you're welcome
Jack Sanders
Imagine having such a shitty life that you're watching an anime you don't like and shitposting about that on show you don't like's thread everyday
Imagine being so pathetic
Joseph White
Have you ever considered expressing yourself as a human being?
Connor Adams
these threads are no fun and comfy now that the shitposters are gone. I love you fellow stonebros
Alexander Smith
FUCK I MEANT "SO FUN"
Lincoln Jenkins
I like it, it was exactly what I expected Kaseki to sound like. Especially when he started the glasswork.
Gavin Gray
Do you feel like a big man, getting four replies to your poorly thought "opinion"?
Jordan Torres
It's on point, that old man's vibe is definitevely what I've had in mind
Jonathan Baker
I do wish they'd showed a couple more stumbling blocks in his work, like how to get the glass off of the pole without breaking it, even if he's a master craftsman of clay, stone and wood that would be a uniquely tricky thing he hasn't dealt with. Even if he figured it out pretty much instantly it would be nice to see him fail at something basic just because its not a problem he's ever faced before, like Senku with the clay pots. I can buy him understanding to use tongs to shape things just because red=hot is pretty basic, but one thing he absolutely should have fucked up is cooling it too fast and shattering it, that's just not something you intuitively know with a band new substance.
Though I must concede, they need to move on and they couldn't hang on the the process with the episode taking so long.
Adrian Nelson
The way the artist does girl faces still feels a bit off for even though I've gotten used to it by this point, but after watching this episode it feels like it fits lolis much better than teenagers or adults.
Jackson Bailey
The pacing of the series is incredibly rushed and recursive and they wouldn't make Kaseki stumble upon anything unless it had an impact 30 chapters later. It does sound like a necessary tidbit of information that benefits verosimilitude, but in Inagaki's big broad roadmap such a thing is uneventful and rather unnecessary.
Brody James
They did show it though, sprinkling water on one point and cutting it fast before the glass cools off too much in the nearing areas. This is also how it's done in reality.
Yeah, they can't nail everything 100%, but i felt they dealt with it very well.
You can try glass-blowing yourself in a lot of places, you'll see it's very intuitive- but you just need to get used to work correctly. I can buy a master craftsman with wood and clay figuring it out very fast, wouldn't buy it if he figured out steel instantly.
I agree it still feels off. What i mean is what's lacking in proper shape is made up for with personality. I can still find kohaku cute as hell even though her face design is obviously off.
Does fit lolis a whole lot more indeed.
Angel Brown
I hope JUMP want to keep Dr.Stone for long enough, so it's planned to have another 24 ep second season in a year or so.
Last month number show enough improvement in manga sales to justify an anime, if the anime itself will also sell enough we're likely to get S2.
I think this manga works as an anime better than most
Camden Morris
Okay I can get that Senku wasn't able to create real firearms en mass until he got the platinum.
But during the Tsukasa Arc and the Boat arc why didn't he at least manufacture crossbows to arm his citizens? I mean for fucks sake they face down martial artists and are going after the people responsible for the petrification. Why does Senku ignore proper weapons development while setting out on extremely life threatening endeavors?
Samuel Smith
AAAAAAAAAAA
Dylan Powell
He wanted to win in a non-violent non-lethal way, which is why he focused all their efforts in a deterrent (papercraft tank) and a sonic cannon (non-lethal weapon) and his goal was to make everyone in the Tsukasa nation flee in less than 20 seconds.
Julian Thomas
Keeping to a pacifistic philosophy when mankinds future as a species is entirely reliant on you is morally wrong and selfish.
Not to mention extremely gay.
Carter Russell
I wonder if the chief regrets every day of his life for not having a son
Gabriel Kelly
Are you sane?
Humanity has been pushed to the brink of being an endangered species. The last thing you want to do is start killing each other, especially when the other side isn't hell-bent on destroying you, and might very easily defect to your side.
By going fully non-lethal, Senki is basically showing Tsukasa his abilities for battle as well are utterly superior, while still showing he won't make the same mistakes that the "old world" did again and again. This works perfectly story-wise.
Cameron Lopez
>le le le
>cringe
Learn how to write an opinion, you subhuman.
Asher Rogers
Punch tempered glass some time. Glass can be made stupid strong for material that's so easy to make and work.
Lucas Thomas
Fine then let's say that I accept your idea. Why didn't Senku use sleeping/tear/mustard gas?
Non-lethal chemical weapons are extremely effective.
Colton Ross
What was that german word again, Brillenbrillanz
I still get shades of this after I give my pair a good cleaning or get a new pair.
Gabriel Robinson
Okay fine I can understand Tsukasa. But why not make lethal weapons for the boat trip? You might encounter aliens or people with guns or all kinds of evil fucks.
That expedition wasn't even armed with non-lethal weapons even though senku now has a fucking industrial base. The guy could manufacture anything he wanted and didn't even provide his crew with ways to protect themselves when venturing into the unknown.
Andrew Williams
He's retarded
The speed with which a lot of things get done is a bit unrealistic but everything they make is based in reality
Michael Walker
mustard gas may very well be lethal if you don't have good medical facilities. They don't. Even if it's not lethal, it leaves blisters and stuff that may get infections and fester.
Sleeping gas is thin and works very badly in open environments, plus it's very hard to synthesize. The simple gasses (acetone, chlorine, mustard) are either terrible or lethal.
Boat trip should have had harpoons or light throwing spears. They didn't explain the reasoning for no weapons, i would have understood if they didn't want to risk the expedition killing each other, but this wasn't said.
I have no good answer for this, as much as i like this manga the writing is in no way perfect.
Jaxon Russell
>mustard gas may very well be lethal if you don't have good medical facilities. They don't. Even if it's not lethal, it leaves blisters and stuff that may get infections and fester.
>Sleeping gas is thin and works very badly in open environments, plus it's very hard to synthesize. The simple gasses (acetone, chlorine, mustard) are either terrible or lethal.
You didn't answer why no tear gas.
Brandon Wilson
pepper spray needs you to get within spitting distance of your opponent, and requires pressurized dispersing means, which they don't have.
Actual teargas falls into the category of "impossible to make" with their current means. You also need to somehow contain and deliver the gas, think the stone world has pressure regulators?
If you want people to get the message of "i don't want to hurt you" and get them to your side, you don't fucking gas them, period.
Nolan Morales
But gassing people is fun.
Nicholas King
Duty comes before fun. Once humanity is restored they can go back to expulsing the (((problematic citizens)))

Nathan Torres
Sleeping and tear gas both require advanced chemical processing. Mustard would be the easiest to make but that would still require a pressure cooker and scary quantities of mustard seeds.
Jacob Hughes
If those parallels are intentional Inagaki and Boichi are absolute beasts, but I doubt that's the case.
It's still very nice though.
Nicholas Gomez

It's more durable than clay pots.
For example, I have corelle plates which are essentially tempered glass. They're much more resistant to breaking than ceramic plates.
Also it's durable to chemicals since it's chemically inert.
Kayden Allen
Yeah, all of us glasses wearers have memorable experiences of the first time we got glasses and saw trees or whatever. I remember being shocked that you could see individual leaves on trees from a distance. I always just assumed they were supposed to look like green blobs.

Isaiah Sullivan
Senku said he wants to get something fundamental to chemistry.
Elijah Thomas
Something much much better than mercury I assure you
Much sexier as well
Blake Morgan
shitposters tried to meme that it was just rick and morty 2.0 or the bazinga show 3.0 since it had scitence. the problem was those shows didn't actually feature "science", it was just a layer of paint over the 5 shows the industry knows how to make. meanwhile the people making this show have a whole exhibit with every singe thing made in the series to show that it was completely possible and not an asspull.

The meta themes are too real.
David Mitchell
Dr. Stone is so good because it takes a standard shonen theme, a genius protagonist saves the day and drives the plot, and transforms it into something more relatable. The protagonists are still geniuses, but their genius is shown to come from hard work and dedication. When they encounter something outside their expertise they are left much like the rest of us, fumbling around unable to do anything. It's a simple story about the just rewards of hard work, and if we dedicated ourselves to our crafts like these characters do, then maybe we too could be become a Senkuu or Kaseki.

So it's a double tourus ring with what looks like an LED at the end of a bunch of complicated circuitry
I'm going to guess since this show focuses a lot on "Having an explanation to anything with science" Senkuu will have to basically struggle with the fact that there are going to be some almost supernatural elements with reality like however this just turns people into stone preserving them for almost indefinite amounts of time and healing even fatal wounds
Owen Morris
Why they have to use a watermelon rind to hold the lenses for Suica? Can't they get Kaseki to carve her some eyeglass frames out of wood or something?
Cooper Diaz
Not only did I spell torus wrong but it's a mobius strip not a fucking torus
I'm going to bed
David Ramirez
I'd imagine the rind is super useful for suikas stealth and rolling abilities using the watermelon
Plus it's super cute on her and would ruin her character image without it
Aaron Rodriguez
So do those 2 from the beginning rejoin Senkuu at one point? Are they even being treated well in Tsukasa's kingdom?
Oliver Gray
God damn saber faces I swear. Every time
Nathaniel Martin
You don't want her to lose her special spying skill

dont forget dying of pneumonia and only ever eating fish
Jaxson Rodriguez
Yes, Gen confirmed last ep they're just dandy. Specially the dickwasher.
Matthew Ortiz
You just know at least some people will start to ship these two after that chapter.
Luke Miller
They will rejoin Senku eventually. They are being treated well in Tsukasa's Empire, as he believes that they believe that Senku is dead and so they have to learn to live in the world he's building. There's no reason to cause any unnecessary harm to citizens of his empire that are just living their lives.
James Harris
Has anyone got a girl to try this out with? Is face sitting a thing?
Nicholas Williams
bad writing, kaseki is just a dumb plot device character, he's bland as fuck glad the japanese doesn't care about him too

Everything they do is unscientific.

>Food preservation is unscientific
Do you hear how stupid you sound?
Juan Miller
Apparently science started in the 20th century out of nowhere or something. At least that's the case if we follow user's logic.
Austin Perez
So? Whether or not they discovered it on purpose they were smart enough to keep fermented food around and dry out meat for jerky or make things like pemmican for later
Asher Gray
And it offers worse nutrition the way they do it.
Kevin Jackson
Just here to say that was a great episode. Every episode had some real tearjerker moment and that one was no different. What I want to say is that Suika a cute.
Logan Gonzalez
I mean when food is scarce for some months what do you expect them to do besides that plus supplementing with whatever they can still find or hunt? Visit the local convenience store? Are you retarded?
Also how does jerky get stripped of all nutrients just because it's dried? Mongolians have lived just fine with fermented dairy and dried meat during winters
Lucas Gomez
They're hunter gatherers. No reliable preservation methods. They even eat rats
Adam Fisher
Wait it's 2 cour? Somehow missed that. Nice.

I wish they would make Gen's tarot cards. I'd buy it

hunter gatherers could possibly still prepare for winter, heck, even many animals do it in some way.

Native americans knew how to dry out meat or fish
Liam Davis
The fuck are you on user?
You don't have to look further than Pyrex, those shit are tough as fuck

It's mentioned they do, but it's still inefficient to the point they rely on hunting/scavenging during winters aswell. If poor harvest they're completely screwed.
Dylan Reed
Show us how you survive eating nothing but jerkies the whole winter.
Ayden Gonzalez
They never venture far from the village. All their food comes from around their village. It'svstill not enough.
Evan Taylor
They're still alive arent they? What else are they eating during winter? Plus theres still fishing
Austin Phillips
They are alive but they could be healthier.
Dominic Campbell
Dried fruits. It can only sustain a set population.
it has been mentioned the village used to be much bigger when Kohaku was small, but a famine/extremely cold winter wiped out most of the village
Lincoln Stewart
Its not jerky but eskimos for thousands of years used to eat only meat and fish and they survived in one of the harshest habitable climates. The one time they'd get berries was in a small window during the year or from caribou stomachs
Which can be bolstered with soap and antibiotics. But since there's only one senku what would he have to gain from a large scale canning operation that risks botulism compared to refining simple food preservation
Elijah Miller
The poll for the Autumn babby cup is nearing its end. You can vote for the members you want on the team and write in ideas for players not on the poll, with enough support they can make it onto the team.

Joseph Johnson
Pickled vegetables or dried fruits were for taste or small supplements than anything else. Theres just not enough caloric content in them to sustain people. I mean, how much kimchi can someone really eat in one day?
Since there seems to be no widely organized grain and flour production, protein and fat is the only way for even a dozen people to survive a winter. Also vegetables arent necessary to life contrary to modern beliefs about nutrition. Not even fruit is, as long as some of the meat consumed is freshly killed. Otherwise eskimos would've died of scurvy much longer ago.
Carson Miller
Can someone link the latest manga chapter thread?
Brandon Jones

Robert Martin
How do you cope with having to wait week for new episode?
I don't want to pick manga as don't want to spoil myself and be able to fully enjoy anime.
Isaiah Stewart
Nothing about the village makes sense. They do not have agriculture and their only domestic animal is a dog - they are basically Mesolithic hunter-gatherers. But hunter-gatherers didn't have massive villages - they were nomads who settled whenever food was abundant enough. "Famine" as the concept makes absolutely no sense for these people. And sure as fuck they didn't have any dedicated craftsmen - those only appeared after agriculture was developed and strong enough to supply people who didn't hunt for themselves and thus could spend time doing different things.
Justin Reed
Well they do have a source of fish, I guess.
Carter Gomez

Tsukasa will be backstabbed by his own henchman and put in artificial coma.

Mobile tribes still had some craftsmen, as in whoever around was the best at making decorative status or religious items like feather cloaks or jewelry. I'm just gonna assume most of the population being gone means fish populations boomed after the problem of overfishing went away, and they're smoking a lot of fish for 40 people.
In the earlier centuries of Europeans being in the Americas, there were reports that rivers were so full of fish that any child could fish out enough to feed his family well and salmon was a trash fish since there were many tastier species (before being overfished). There are some possible cases of semi permanent settlements where fish was abundant with native americans, where they built sturdier huts.

Aaron Scott
>And sure as fuck they didn't have any dedicated craftsmen
Sure they had, whoever is best at crafting is the dedicated craftsman whenever crafting needs to be done - it's not like that has to be a full-time occupation, what you apparently think of when you hear dedicated.
Liam Smith
Camden Stewart
That village is far from massive, and given it's weird spot it's likely they moved there for protection, though it's not clear what they fear - so far we only heard of criminals they want to keep out, but does that justify moving there?
