That's why I'm still using CCCP on windows 7... still works fine if I stay away from x265 stuff. As long as x264 files are still released and no new format comes out that actually improves quality and not just file size which is irrelevant, I see no reason to ever change anything.

Why would you go to something worse? MPV doesn't have smooth motion like MPC/madVR. The closest thing it has creates ghosting.
