Bunkasai episodes are usually cool. Episodes where all the class has to make their bunkasai stand are usually less so.

I agree, cultural festival episodes are the most borig shit out there because in 99% of anime they're all the exact same shit with the exact same messages about working together and enjoying your youth. Bonus points if they're the "breather episode" that has nothing to do with the plot and the show just unnaturally focuses on the bunkasai instead of just using the school as a backdrop like it always does.
