There were energy blasts going off while the kiss happened, and she ended up weak in the legs. The intensity was pretty high all around. It just didn't result in ass grabbing and sex.

Asuna's usage as a character was odd in retrospect. Starts as the main girl and implied love interest, gets good character development and massive powerups in the first half of the series, becomes almost completely irrelevant once the Magic World arc hits, doesn't get a major fight throughout the arc despite her learning Kanka just before being made out to be a big deal, and then literally gets replaced by Shiori for almost the rest of the series until waking up at the end of the final battle and getting a few asspull epilogue chapters

The Kota-Natsumi pairing is really cute.

Yeah, this one of a rare case where the mangaka actually decided to replace the main heroine midway.

It's odd when usually most authors would favor their main girls above everyone else with most screentime and development to ensure their inevitable win in the end, Akamatsu doing the opposite.

The Lifemaker is doing no such thing. She's simply transferring people to their ideal world, but the problem is that it comes with World Destruction as a prerequisite. Everything would have gone swimmingly had she just made everyone incapable of reproducing and go to CE after they die. Though this would be nowhere near fast enough considering her... Ailments, how Mars was en route to collapse, and how she wasn't going to stop at just Mars. Her methods aren't good, but her intentions are, even if they're selfish.
