The writting and character depth is some of the best in manga. Even the octopus guy has a complete psychology and deconstructive arc.
Kurapika's entire arc is the best "revenge" arc in the medium, during Yorkshin he calculated his odds.Tried to capture a spider member.When things got complicated he killed him with no regret. He thought that he could burry the sorrow for his clan by taking revenge, but he still feels sad and lost, like he doesn't have anywhere to call home.
In a generic Shounen like One piece, at that point he would realize some stupid shit like " my friends are my home! "
No, since relationships and friendships are realistic in HxH(unlike other Shounen), Kurapika realizes power of friendship doesn't work. In the current arc Kurapika is starting to feel some affection for the baby Prince he is protecting. Who knows what might happen in the coming chapters, but it will be genius in all probability
What also fits with that is that the ones that do seek power or use their power like shonen protagonists are fucked. It's largely the point of Meruem, he ponders the fact that a feeble and blind person continuously defeats him in an arbitrary game and adds that the child he killed could have also surpassed him in another area. The reason HxH seems so atypical is because it isnt a power fantasy about wish fulfillment like other shonen, but a realistic exploration of morally grey individuals all with their own consciousness. This is reinforced through the fact that the story doesn't have to center around the "main character". after Gon's story reached a climax, Togashi let him lose his nen. This is not a problem since the manga is not solely about Gon himself, so it move on with Kurapikka as MC.

A monster like Netero acknowledged him as a big brain giga chad genius and he was lucky Gon wasn't able to control his strength otherwise he would have been oneshotted, lost the ball immediately and forced to give Gon his license at once, which proves by the way that Gon moves faster than sound and is stronger than Netero even without nen. He even outplayed the chairman and harmed him with his boot, while Killua got rekt and Hisoka failed even to get the smallest reaction out of him. He's not in the current arc despite being in every other arc because he would solve the succession war in one chapter and solo the ship and the Dark Continent

Togashi introduced his version of King Crimson in the manga and it's not that bad in terms of conditions/requirements, so The World wouldn't be that costly, specially if you leave the original limitations like the range and the cooldown (if it had one or maybe Dio is just a fucking idiot).
You probably have to be a Specialist, maybe have forced Zetsu during its cooldown and maybe add some kind of stress on your physical body (something like Kurapika's Emperor Time) and you're done. Also be super talented like the prince of course

In a Nen environement, the individual's potential counts when it comes to creating an ability, someone with Tserriednich's potential and genius can easily get away with an overpowered ability with minimal limitations, a regular nen user would have to train decades and deal with harsh conditions.
If you want to see this from the point of view of someone like Gon/Killua then sure, you'd probably have to set a powerful initial condition like you can only stop time from 0-5 seconds, and right after exiting stopped time you are forced into Zetsu for a period of time that's proportionate to how long you stopped time for, 1 second being a minute, 5 seconds max being 5 minutes, you'd also need to think about how stopped time works, for exemple if you attack an opponent in stopped time while their defense is up and their Nen is obviously stronger than yours then you won't do significant damage, which means this power is better used as a suprise attack against opponents not using Nen instead of in the middle of a fight.
With the limitations that would have to be placed no matter what they are, stopped time is an assassination Hatsu not a drawn out combat Hatsu, kinda reminiscent of Meleoron.

Nen doesn't allow omnipotence. You are just turning Aura into effects, with restrictions raising the rate of conversion. No matter how many restrictions you put into an ability, it won't reach infinity. Time stop would require freezing the whole universe in place with a specific ability. Like the all-cutting sword, there wouldn't be enough Vows to make it possible. You could probably make an ability that creates a Pocket Dimension where Time Freeze is possible, but that is several steps more complicated than just Time Freeze.

Anime and manga are mediums that allow for characters to be more expressive, exaggerated, idealistic, etc. And it is precisely the exaggerated personalities and extreme themes that make the stories so colorful and fun.

I just want to know how he survived a half-assed punch from Uvo, much less a full powered one. The "I am as good as enhancing as gon now eye power" does not explain this, he should have died even if he used gyo to block. But he had no knowledge of Ryu at that time. One of Razor's dodgeballs put a seasoned hunter who did block with his nen out of comission. Uvo's full power punch would be a lot stronger and it hit a newbie like Kurapika who only guarded with his goddamn Ten.
For comparison, Even current Kurapika would die from a gunshot if he only had his Ten up, Uvo got blindsided by a large calibre rifle, and it bounded off his goddamn Ten shroud. That is the difference in power. There is no goddamn way Kurapika with no knowledge of nen hand to hand combat could have taken even a friendly punch from Uvo without exploding.
And this is without going into how bullshit it is that he could pull out accelerated healing that even Gon cannot replicate, despite him being a 1/10 000 000 genious with a lot more training in enhancer techniques. Saying he can use enhancing techniques at 100% is meaningless, such a technique should have taken as much time as he spent learning how to conjure chains, but he could only train to do it while being in edge mode. As if he had time to do that between the Kukoro mt. rescue and Yorknew.

Now is it reasonable for him to have mastered those techniques in 6 months? It took Gon and Killua more but they had many months without training in between, assuming Kurapika obsessively trained every single day for 6 months it makes a little more sense but it's still a bit silly in the end. Were those techniques even in Togashi's mind when he thought of the fight or did he come up with them only after? I don't know.
Kurapika survived the 20% and 50% punches from Uvo thanks to Emperor Time, assuming he can use Ko, and the fact that the scarlet eyes give him a considerable aura boost is a factor as well, there's no exact math to do here that proves he should have been able to or not. As for the full force big bang impact, there's a canon explanation given by Uvo as to why he survived and it's that he dodged at the last second making so that the impact was isolated to the arm alone, which got indeed shattered as a result. If the hit would have landed properly Kurapika would have died. That's the canon answer, whether you think it satisfactory or not

Also, while the mechanics of In are still a bit of a mystery it's an application of zetsu we already know from the HA arc that sensing ausa isn't stopped by zetsu. In fact it can be increased since you no longer are exuding your own aura. So kurapika using in isn't unable to generate aura, nor would he not be able to sense Uvo.
