HxH1999 is one of the few series where "filler" is actually magnificent, and only adds to the overall experience.
Also, whenever people bring up "muh fillers", I'd love to hear what they think of the K-ON anime, and the fact that it is quite literally 75% "filler" if ya compare it to the pathetic manga.

Not to mention The whole arc was butchered in the anime. Some of the worst pacing and animation I have ever seen.
Last but not least: Yorkshin chapter is the peak HxH, and it was completely awful in the 2011 variant.
