No, unless you also get sick from watching movies. 99% of them are presented in 24 frames per second as well.
And for good reason. While 48 or 60 fps can look awesome in short .webms and slow motion scenes, it just looks cheap if you watch an entire episode or movie this way. Look up "soap opera effect" on youtube, there are some really revealing demonstrations. A lot of them talk about video interpolation specifically, but it's not so different if the material shot in high frame rate to begin with.
I hope to god never. 60-100 is awesome for games. Terrible for television.

Do you realize that every frame needs to be animated? Production costs would go up exponentially. Anime isn't even close to 24fps to begin with. It's not that necessary either. Just because people piss and moan about fps in video games doesn't make it relevant to mediums where audience reaction time doesn't matter.

Sorry to ruin your happy fantasy but character motion in anime is done in 10-12 frames per second. They duplicate those frames to get to 24fps. There's no tv anime that do true 24fps. Actually, not even theatrical movies to do that. It takes way too much effort and money.

Just like the colored scene looks cheap compared to the noble black-and-white traditional video. Make enough anime in good fps, and low-fps will start looking as strange as video in 640x480.
