What is it with nips and meaningless christian imagery??

>cultural appropriation
Does that even mean anything?
Also it's a good movie and one of the few where the symbolism actually goes somewhere

The same way der führer does.

That's entirely wrong, especially for Persians.

Burning down historical landmarks, for one thing. Painting traditions as anti-religion and thus unsafe. Destroying cultural heritage like books and films. Having an anti-science and anti-secularist and anti-libertarian stance in general.
All that has happened and is still happening in the name of religion.

So, no, using religious symbolism is not "cultural appropriation" (as if that even was a thing to take seriously). It's simply copying story tropes to evoke some sense of deja-vu.

It applies in this case becuase the whole movie is a out criticising blind faith

Except the guy who broke the egg is still wandering the ruined ark while the girl is now part of the statues on the giant eyeball.
you can read it in a lot of ways

Maybe she reached enlightenment when she learned the truth of how meaningless the egg was? I honestly dont know i havent watched it in years

She literally died immediatly after the egg was broken because she fell off a cliff in her panic/distress.
Which also resulted in a lot of new eggs spawning where she died.
And pic related is how she looks on the eyeball, doesn't really imply that holding onto the egg was a mistake from that perspective.
