Obviously Zangetsu surpressed the hollow inside Ichigo. That doesn't mean Hichigo was supposed to be Zangetsu from the start and that Kubo planned Ywach.
Admit it, Kubo's plot twist on Zangetsu literally fixed all of Ichigo's powers and so called "asspulls"...
