If 22i actually gives us an ending where the older woman ends up winning, especially in a WSJ title, then I'd be impressed, but I'm not holding my breath. Nip mangaka being loyal to their main heroines seems to be some kind of racial trait.

I see zero reasons to identify both Rizu and Fumino as main girls in the series itself. If I completely disregard meta, I'd say for a fact that Mafuyu is the main girl but I can't, because meta does exist.
