Easily main protagonist of the decade. No other character resonates with this generation of anime fans like this one does.

That would be the last 20 years, in that case. Otaku have been virgin hikki neet's the entirety of the 21st century.

If you're a socially inept, borderline abused, and was/is a edgelord teenager, sure....hey that's me!

Incel of the decade

Yeah that's me. Insanely good looking, well off, with girls handing on my dick

There's no way all these Yukino cover pages/illustration pages/self-ballads by 8man/dramamagneting and general prominence in the story are just misdirection to bait the audience into making the expected assumptions/expectations, right?
Even if that is the case, since it's going to be the last volume, their play here is to go with the obvious Yukino end because the audience has been conditioned to think it's going to be something else, right?
Yukino end? Yes? No?

How will people react when Saika wins?

Maybe mad because HayaHachi is where it's at.

Yukino is set up from page 1 to be the main love interest, she is the first person to bring up liking someone for real and she is a depicted as the untouchable/unattainable Japanese princess with long black hair. She is associated with sakura pedals. She is the only one besides Hachiman who likes his beloved Max Coffee. Yukino is voiced by Saori Hayami. It's Yukino's destiny to be with Hachiman forever.

>Yukino is set up from page 1 to be the main love interest
That's is exactly my concern. For some reason, I can't trust the storyteller/s to just leave it as that. I can practically hear them going "he fell for it, hit him with the machigatteiru".

You are missing something important, Hachiman strongly believes a perfect dream girl like Yukino would never ever like a complete loser like him. He has a massive inferiority complex on Yukino. Even in volume 13, he still denies she likes him.

How can Hachifags even compete? Literal chad Sakuta vs virgin 8man.

Yukino is a shit

>Iroha is a shit
>Mai is a shit
ftfy

I can't imagine how you live with yourself knowing that Iroha is a huge fucking slut and goes from cock to cock.

It doesn't dismiss the possibility that the story will explain Hikki's actions as "he wants Yukino to be his friend" rather than "he is in love with Yukino". The ship is not yet necessarily sunk at this point, mind you. But going with the assumption that Hikki is doing what he does currently because "he's in love with Yukino" and not considering alternatives feels like asking to get hit with the machigatteiru.

Hachiman doesn't want a friend, he wants something close to real. His inner thoughts on that prove he doesn't want something superficial/fake. Not companionship, being together, being friends or anyone understanding him. See pic related.

I can't just go with the assumption that the genuine they're looking for=OTP love and not consider other possibilities. Maybe genuine is a superset that includes OTP love. Maybe genuine is a completely different thing. It's entirely possible that the scene where they find genuine is similar to the ending of episode 6, but on a greater scale and with added genuine flavor. Everyone puts their sins on the table, they're all scared of being hated for it, but maybe they somehow manage to elevate to the next level of friendship through it. No ships confirmed or denied at this point.

Yukino and Yui are shitty archetypes, 8man is going to pound bussy instead

>what hachiman wanted to be but too beta to do so

absolut alpha loner.

Yukino and Yui are the only properly developed characters mouthbreather. All the other side characters are shit though.

>I'm been lucky lately
Yikes

No, something genuine is pure uncorruptable love. Did you even read the light novel?

Where exactly in the novel does it state genuine to be love? The only descriptions of genuine that stuck with me are sour/bitter grapes completely unlike sweet lies, that it's going to be incredibly selfish, yet accepted by all concerned parties. The sort of next level friendship that puts all of one's bullshit on the table, having them accepted, and accepting others' bullshit and not having anyone ditch anyone still fits the description of genuine. Unless you can point out exactly where it is mentioned that genuine=love, I can't go with that assumption.

>genuine is a gf
So much for being deep.

Dumb speedwatcher

that's not what it is. in another hachiman abandoned it so he could end up in a meaningless relationship with yui

Why was it meaningless?

How the fuck does your post help the argument that genuine=love? If anything, what he said is it wasn't love, on top of not also being genuine.

yui wanted hachiman to tell her he lover her, he couldn't do it and there were a lot of clues left behind that it was doomed to fail

>you can't call what I felt for orimoto love
>it wasn't genuine
retard

>Hachiman literally says the words genuine love to Haruno on the phone
>still forcing genuine=friendship meme even when Hachiman has said on record he isn't looking for friendship
I'm sorry I took you seriously, either you are a troll or just plain stupid.

The only thing what he said proves is that what he felt for Orimoto was neither genuine nor love. So if "genuine" and "love" were buckets, what he felt for Orimoto doesn't go in either. It doesn't address the problem of whether genuine and love are separate buckets or one and the same bucket or if either bucket is a smaller bucket that goes inside the other.

>what I felt for orimoto wasn't love, it wasn't genuine
>so if I were to ever find something genuine with someone it would be love
>in ANOTHER hachiman abandons something genuine and by the end of it, he can't tell yui he loves her
>in the main series hachiman will mostl likely find something genuine, which means that he will tell someone that he... ???

Stop

I'm always amazed on the shit taste from Bestino haters.

Listen to the Japanese. What he says is closer to "getting along with". The LN doesn't even translate it to friend.

Explain to me how something cruel and harsh is friendship. What Hayama has isn't that and what the current trio of the service club isn't that. The truth is you don't understand what Hachiman was saying there.

It's cruel and harsh because they won't be tiptoeing around the bullshit that they normally hide from one another, while still asking to not be ditched anyway. Let's say the bullshit here is Hikki tells Yui that she has absolutely no chance with him. Pre-genuine, Yui might walk away, or Yukino might hate him for it or whatever. At the genuine level, he wants neither Yui nor Yukino to ditch him just because he said something that hurts their feelings. Apply equivalently to whatever bullshit Yui or Yukino has to say.

>What Hayama has isn't that and what the current trio of the service club isn't that.
Yes, because somebody will ditch once the bullshit gets put on the table at their current level of friendship, if that's what it's supposed to be called even.

Except Yui's entire friendship with Yukino is because she wants Hachiman as a boyfriend and she plans on ending it with Yukino next volume. So your entire argument falls apart.

>your entire argument falls apart
Fucking this. Just stop embarrassing yourself.

Attached: please let me and her end it properly.png (933x258, 17K)

If Yui finds genuine between her and Yukino, regardless of which of them wins the Hikki, they'll still be friends with each other. It's entirely possible that Yui might drop because she says she doesn't want genuine, but Yukino and/or Hikki can also force genuine on her by saying they don't want her to leave.
