I still remember reading some of the earlier chapters years ago, and literally reading that one of the problems they had was that since only women were left, they didn't know any theory behind their technology .That shit is so unbelievably stupid.

And that's where you cross the line between trashy and pure garbage. Harem anime knows it's trash. The narrative nor the fans try to justify harems because at the end of the day we all acknowledge it's guilty pleasure trash you beat you meat to as the MCs get blueballed into oblivion.
Isekai, on the other hand, is the annoying ass self-righteous cousin who dials up the obnoxiousness to 11. Characters and fans alike take some non-existent moral high ground to justify the MC's actions while he gets fellated by the entire side cast everytime he does something. It takes self-inserting to a whole 'nother level by appealing to a demographic of useless good-for-nothings and handing them not just the world but women, power, fame, and respect on a silver platter for being vidya-playing NEET virgins with twisted moral compasses and values that only exist whenever it's convenient for them.

I think we forgot another infuriating part.
The fact the series had so many missed release (at least from what I remember back when I read it)
So even if by some chance you were into the series' awful plot, terrible characters and red herring cliffhangers/dropped plot point you had to wait EXTRA time to be disappointed
