Sachi accept herself and punpun for who they were. She could have easily gone down the route of Sachi. She didn't. She even changed her face, that's how much she hated herself but in the end accepted it. Also if Punpun didn't want to be saved, he could have rejected sachi in the end and would have died either way but that didn't happen.
