So Toyoda's ancestor was a famous warlord in the warring states who died after being trapped by his enemy
He really is related to Toyoda Tadakatsu from Danberu

Koga will be sparring with lean mean sex machine of Himalayas next, right?

Whos toyoda in danberu again?

>Kengan Omega is Danberu but with Asura characters
Yes

OH SHIT

Koga is not suited for wrestling tho, it would be waste of his fledgling eyes power

The ghost who possessed Zina during the test of courage in chapter 57,in chapter 58 he got exorcised by Machio and ended up joining the Silverman's Gym.

>doubting Yamashita-san

the wrestling will mostly be to build him up physically

or just some parody of Honda Tadakatsu

Why does Japan loves his "See, I was born super duper rich but then I left my family and started with nothing right the second I stopped breastfeeding and before my balls had dropped I had become even more rich than my family was because I'm super duper TENSAI and took over them anyway not through birthright but because HARD WORK!!!" stories so much? Is so they can pretend this shit can work IRL and delude kids reading this that they can just make it with just a firm handshake and pulling themselves by the bootstraps?

DANGEROUS SEKI !!!

ive never been happier to see a character again

Koga needs a better body to properly react to the shit he sees on time. His eyes might be good but they're worth shit if his reaction time is that of a corpse.

It's not just Japan. Even western comics do it.

HE'S BACK
IN BLACK

He didn't even leave when he was young, he spent 18 years living in one of the richest and most stimulating environments AND THEN went on to drop everything so he could build his own empire. No doubt using the skills and knowledge he acquired from his family's business over his entire life.

Thanks for the dump

Pretty much. But they love to pretend that didn't influence at all and that he built an empire of his own afterwards is somehow impressive and that anyone can do it just as long they "work hard" too.

Bogdanoff?

Bogged Kengan.

it's ERIC MOTHERFUCKING ROBERTS
get it right.

>that anyone can do it just as long they "work hard" too.
I think that's actually just meant to accentuate how incredible the person is, not try to put everyone on the same level as him. I mean it's how it was used for

Well I'm photoshopping the crap out of this one.

He's supposedly the main antagonist of this installment.
I don't think he's supposed be an example of anything.

Koga will become CouGAR soon.

Attached: 1510384726871.jpg (500x375, 72K)

What do you mean when you say "Japan"? Do you think the writings of a few mangaka are representative of the entire country? How many examples can you even list to begin with?

Also, this . You're completely misunderstanding the intention.

So Koga gets a training arc where he gets trained by most old school fighters from Asura?
What is the chance that Cosmo comes next to teach him wrestling?

>koga becomes a solid bro-tier character instead of a spaz

Attached: Thick and Hard.jpg (576x1296, 280K)

Do remember how Sekibayashi was portrayed in his fights. Sure, his muscles gave him a tough body that could endure lots of punishment as well as deal out heavy blows, but he was also described as a specialist in defense that focuses on damaging the opponent with their own attacks. Surely there are applicable points of study there.

Because discarding the circumstances of your birth to prove your ability and worth is unarguably one of the most classic themes in history

The Kengan fighters who were in the tournament are so far beyond Koga that I cannot see him ever reaching their level. If Koga ever fought Gaolang, Raian or even Rihito, I'm sure he would get smoked. Imagine this fucking snot stepping up to Bando.

>learns Pro Wrestling from Jun
>learns kickboxing from Gaolang
>learns foresight from Kaneda
>learns karate from Gensai

>final lesson: learns fashion from Muteba

If Himuro didn't job to Kaneda back in Asura, how would he fare against Gao Lang in the tournament?

Quite jelly desu.

He'd still be up against Gaolang in the first match, so a round 1 lost.

Sure is easy to discard such circumstances after taking advantage of them for 18 years and then "proving your own worth" with all you were able to access and learn only through and because of them.

Probably much better than Kaneda did, but would still lose anyway.

Gensai doesn't take students. And Gaolang doesn't do kickboxing. The most he could do is kind of stand around awkwardly and watch Gensai beat people into oblivion.

Attached: B18(1).png (758x1195, 975K)

He didn't "job" to Kaneda.

I wonder what Haruo's like, he's had 2 years of training (IIRC it took Sekibayashi 5 years to become swole) but he had a super solid base under all that fat.

He didn't job. There is no jobbing in Kengan Asura.

>how would he fare against Gao Lang in the tournament?
Badly. It'd be slightly less one-sided but Gaolang is a fucking beast of a fighter.

Haruo's physical specs were insane. With proper training he would be an absolute monster.

There's a year in-universe until the tournament senpai, it's gonna be a few months even if they speed through the training. There'll definitely be a few kengan matches beforehand too.

>character who's established as strong loses to a complete newcomer in order to make the newcomer seem more powerful
>not jobbing

I like Koga.

Well.

Oh, thats true

So you're telling me the name isn't a parody of Toyota?

>Learn fashion from Muteba.

user, Muteba would heart jab him for running around like he does. He's quite serious about being /fa/.

He didn't lose to Kaneda to make Kaneda seem more powerful, he lost to Kaneda because Kaneda beat him. I think you spend too much time in DB threads friend.

He jobbed by the accurate definition of it rather than the idiot version of the term.

>goat eyes
Literally Satan?

Its jobbing, but usually we get jobbing with dignity...or Sen getting humiliated.

AW SHIT
SEKI TIME

Well, I imagine that the important thing for Koga here to learn is to let go of his presumptions on fighting styles and remove the limitation of conventional martial arts theory on his views in combat.

>Established as strong
He literally hadn't done anything the entire series, and literally everyone in the series hypes themselves and their fighters up constantly.

How many people said "I can beat the Fang of Metsudo" only to be shit tier.

>Sekibayashi
I sleep.
Wake me up when Marvelous Seki appears.

You can say that about literally any fight, then. Since you brought up DB: "Yamcha didn't job to Tien, he just lost because Tien beat him."
Yeah, no shit he beat him. It would be pretty fucking hard to job if the other guy doesn't win.

You just want to see Cosmo tangled all around Koga don't you?

Attached: 1547820419859.png (960x1361, 1.02M)

n-no

Attached: 1544304689643.jpg (306x323, 43K)

He hadn't done anything, but he was one of the fighters who'd made their way to the tournament, which is a massive feat in and of itself, not to mention that he'd mentioned being from the Inside, and thus very likely grew up in a similar situation to Ohma's.

>learns kickboxing from Gaolang
>forgets you can kick

>There is no jobbing in Kengan Asura.
Explain to me what Rihito does then.

So why not just say lost? Why not just say the character lost?
No man, it's not jobbing, not in the Professional Wrestling sense or the retard Yea Forums sense. The characters just lose their fights. It's not like Mikazuchi "jobbed" to Gensai to show how strong Gensai was, we knew Gensai was strong, there was no need to use Mikazuchi to demonstrate that. Did Koburagi "job" to Ohma? Just use the word lost, it's far more appropriate than "job"

god he's so hot now

Anyone could make it to the tournament. Raian had never fought a Kengan match a day in his life, neither had Hollis. But Raian was picked and Hollis was considered.

>It's not like Mikazuchi "jobbed" to Gensai to show how strong Gensai was
Nice strawman, nobody with half a brain said this.

Rihito, Hassad, Sen, Sawada, and Himuro, and probably a few others I'm forgetting have all jobbed. Stop pretending it doesn't happen.

Lose to two guys who are better fighters than him, one of which is a better fighter than everyone else and get assaulted in a bathroom by a literal superhuman.

There's a difference between being shit and jobbing

Don't worry, it's only a matter of time until his clothes get all shredded and he ends up tangled with some other guy, squirming on the ground and covered in sweat.

He a fighter too like Rihito or an ex?

HELLS ANGEL

HAHAHA i would be funny if the author finally makes Cosmo wear a skirt now that his hair is that long.

Im not saying i want to see it, but i would be funny hahaha.

It's the exact same circumstance brah. In the sense they lost to show how dangerous someone is, why wouldn't it be applicable? Did Kaneda "job" to Gaolang? Did Julius "job" to Wakatsuki? Did Seki "job" to Muteba? It's just dumb to say, it doesn't fit anything. Maybe the only person who could legitimately be used as an example is Sen, and that's under contention because NO ONE expected him to beat Kanoh.

Will he kick at 2?

fucking hell I want all faggots to die in a fire

>wrecks Ivan
>chicks hate him!
>gets molested by Raian
>core of the power quartet
>employs Ivan and the former Yakuza guy
>cuts bearded men
>gets beaten by bearded men
>asks bearded men to train him
>last man standing in his rivalry with Ohma

Gaolang would still win probably but it probably would have been a closer match. Kaneda was hilariously fucked over by Gaolang holding back during the start of the match, messing up his predictions.

>implying it wasn't Hassad's plan all along

Because, like I said, you could do that for literally any fucking fight, and the term "job" would completely cease to exist. Any case of jobbing can be explained away by just going "no, he didn't job, he just lost!", as though those are mutually exclusive, as opposed to one usually being a pre-requisite.

Don't worry user, that already happened.

Attached: 1539891066854.png (848x1200, 1.49M)

His entire job in the series was to appear strong then lose to make new people look stronger, Ohma, Raian and Gensai. In fact the only fights he won were either off camera or to the super low-tier that couldn't even get themselves a place in the tournament.

man he's pretty buff in this no long hair tho

I want to marry Karla

I want Karla to rape me!

Attached: Kure_Karla.png (475x465, 202K)

>He didn't "job" to Kaneda.
He fell in love

Attached: OTP.png (1576x1242, 1.19M)

>Did Seki "job" to Muteba?
Yes, he put him over to make him look strong before feeding him to his buddy Waka. Waka gets to look like an absolute monster, Muteba looks strong as fuck and also becomes a fan favorite, and Seki gets to look good losing, puts his buddy over AND creates a new star in the process. It's absolute dimes booking, Vince could learn a thing or two.

>not in the Professional Wrestling sense or the retard Yea Forums sense
Ok can people actually their definitions of "jobbing" because at this point I don't think anyone knows what the other person is saying.

In the wresting sense, Jobbing would be a scripted loss. So technically all losses in fiction are Jobbing since they are scripted.

In the Yea Forums sense I can see Jobbing being a combination of the wrestling term and the implication that the loss is usually Humiliating to the loser.

In both senses Kengan Asura has jobbers specifically the first round of fighters and some pre-tournament stuff like Hassad. Nezu Mashima got hyped up only to lose in a single shot from Sasuke. But until we have a concrete or at least consistent definition of Jobbing people are going to be arguing in circles about who is or isn't jobbing.

Attached: Vegeta cries.gif (530x283, 2.1M)

But Kaneda is the gay one
Or maybe not?

No way. Kaneda complained about it only when Gaolang didn't follow up after his last attack. Okubo was said to be the strongest of the idiot four and Gaolang was definitely stronger than him.

>tfw watched S-cry-ed this week
It hurts mang.

Attached: tumblr_m2ghxmhl181qc3tu4.png (500x275, 116K)

Jobbing is what Vegeta does for a living, as in, he loses to the bad guy or main antagonist to show what a big deal the main antagonist of the arc is.

Attached: 1550694359308.png (724x640, 420K)

Am i missing something? Gaolang has him beat in size and stats (and has a particularly absurd advantage in speed) and is easily top 3 when it comes to skill in the tournament to the point that he made Agito into a heavy bag with eyes for the most of their match. How exactly does Himuro not get slaughtered even worse then Kaneda? At least Kaneda had an extremely unorthodox strategy and was primarily a defensive fighter which allowed him to last, if only for a short while.

>Or maybe not?
He's not greek, but he will be the Top whereas Himuro is the powerbottom

I see jobbing as any loss for the explicit purpose of making one of the fighters look strong, usually at the expense of the other (example: Kanoh Agito vs Hatsumi Sen), or any fight where a character with unproven strength fights someone who is known to be strong and defeats them, thus showing that they are a threat (example: Kokuro beating Gozo off screen).

>top 3 when it comes to skill
lol Fang was just being a dumb bitch and trying to fuck around with the style matching, Kanoh in round 3 on would give Gaolang the daddy dick

Vegeta is just a high-maintenance version of Yamcha, the working class jobber

There's only one definition of jobbing: "A character said to be realiably strong loses to a new foe with great ease, to prove that the new threat is serious and that people should pay attention to this new foe". Anything past that is people taking the term wrongly. Wolverine and Superman are two of the most famous jobbers in fiction because of that, they are badasses who had plenty of events where some new threat would fuck them up with ease to prove they mean business.

The term "job" exists in Professional Wrestling alongside "Kyfabe", jobbing is acting dude, it's a part of the promotion to bring in interest for new blood. All things being equal in a fight you can't job, you just lose. In real life boxing or mma matches there are no jobbers, there are guys that either take a fall, or were hand picked because everyone knew they were going to lose but them, when someone "does the job" in Professional Wrestling they come into the match knowing they're going to lose.
He lost to Ohma because everyone loses to Ohma, by that metric you just presented Raian is guilty of the same thing. And no one beat Gensai, so he doesn't really count.
I kek'd

>and the implication that the loss is usually Humiliating to the loser.
It's more that despite the loser being strong in his own right there's still a huge gap between the winner and loser, usually done to make the winner look that much stronger. Like Vegeta losing to Frieza. Or Vegeta losing to Cell. Or Vegeta losing to Buu.

I'm willing to give Himuro's benefit of doubt because Kaneda pulled cheap tricks on him too.

>you just presented Raian is guilty of the same thing.
Raian didn't lose like a bitch.

>Kanoh in round 3 on would give Gaolang the daddy dick
>gets completely demolished when he's using everything he has
>dude lmao now that i'm only striking i'll fare better against the world's best striker
R3 Agito was a horrible match up for Sen because he stopped fucking around, but Gaolang gave him hell when he was serious. And don't give me that bullshit how Gaolang only did well because he landed the early clean hit, Agito managed to stop the pace of the match at least twice and Gao still took the lead back.

Vegeta is a garbage man. His losses make it really difficult to remember his wins. I mean he did kill every member of the Ginyu Force. And he came closer to killing Goku than anyone not named Piccolo.

at 2.99 !

I just don't see it. Gaolang barely lost to a guy twice Himuro's size and at least ten times his skill. I don't see how Gaolang doesn't just destroy him.

Yeah, Raian lost like a retard.

Hassad imminent

Attached: kengan-ashua-8474773.jpg (800x1136, 152K)

I know what jobbing and kayfabe is, and of course it doesn't exist in real life fights. It exists in pro wrestling because the fights are scripted.
You know what else is scripted? Literally every fight in fiction, disregarding stuff like stream-of-consciousness writing styles. Hence why the term applies.
"All things being equal"? The matches are decided before they start. They were never equal. One fighter had a 100% chance to win, and the other had a 0% chance to win.
When Sen lost to Agito, it wasn't because Sen did everything he could and came up short, it was because that was how the fight was written. If you wanna go down this road, literally every single fight is booked, and thus could constitute jobbing, but that's obviously not what people mean when they say that someone jobbed.

This seems more like a specific usage of Jobbing which shows up on a lot of series. Star Trek also had a character whose job was to show off how physically imposing a new threat was after being hyped up as the strong man of the crew.

I'm suddenly reminded of the time Seki's other senior figure, the guy with the mustache, entered a tournament and ended up getting super beat up at the end. Then during the tournament, he was sitting relaxed next to Cosmo's teacher, as if he was being set up on the same level as him.

Feeling a bit of a disconnect there. If that tournament the mustache guy participated in was pretty much filled with only 'normal' martial artists, and if he was supposed to be some underground fighting-level wrestler, I do find it odd that he'd suffer so much even if he was taking damage from damage. At the very least, I would think Seki himself as he is now would have been able to breeze through that tournament.

>Nezu Mashima got hyped up only to lose in a single shot from Sasuke.
A delinquent character losing to an experienced assassin makes perfect sense though. It's the same thing that happened with Rihito and Kuroki.

I define it as does but usually stay away from the term unless it's a joke or the loss looks rather contrived.

>A delinquent character
He was the reigning champion of the third biggest underground fight club after Purgatory and the Kengan Association. He's not just some ordinary Delinquent and even Nezu noted his kicks were fresh.

Agito was "serious" then, but with a way worse fighting style.

If Agito started fighting the same way he did in Round 3 against Gaolang he would smash him, there's just a massive gap between "Serious" Fang when he's being a show off retard and "Serious" Fang when he's fighting at his full potential.

I think it's the same as with the old assassins. I mean, there's no way that Ryo's grandpa is on the level of Rei's and Erioh, but they're still peers and each other.

So why use the term then? When you're reading Harry Potter and an established witch or wizard is Aveda Kedavra'd do you go "kek, jobber"

>he would smash him
How? Fighting Gaolang with striking is the stupidest thing he could do. Sen got fucked hard because his strategy relied on exploiting his opponent's mistakes. Gaolang's doesn't, he's very much comfortable being both on the offense and defense. Sen vs Agito is one of the absolute biggest mismatches in the tournament and it made Agito look stronger and Sen weaker then they are.

Worf. Anytime they wanted to show a badass Klingon or Romulan or Borg they would send Worf out to get bodyslammed because he was technically the best fighter on the ship. Kind of how Yugi would lose to show a threat was Atem level.

Where Medicine Man at?

Because the change in methods made Kanoh ridiculously faster, there was a huge delay in how long it took him to actually pick a move. After he trained with Omori, that shit was like 15 milliseconds to select a move

>if Agito had already massively evolved and rethought his whole way of fighting before fighting with Gaolang he wouldn't have to massively evolve to beat Gaolang and then rethink his whole way of fighting
Yeah, sure. And we have no way of knowing it, but I think Gaolang would still perform better than the peak "Log Thrower" Hatsumi.

Attached: KA 205 u15.png (847x1200, 1.08M)

His opponent was "one of the heaviest hitters" of a no holds bared tournament that was at the peak of Vale Tudo and he didn't block, you could argue they had fighters on par with Okubo there.
Imai's teacher came off as the stronger one though, and he's apparently still an active fighter (as of the tournament).

Sen had no problem reacting to him and he's not a striker. What fucked Sen up was the stats difference and Agito's new approach. I firmly believe he would have fared even worse with his round 3 approach since the only thing that saved him were extremely unorthodox moves (and luck). R4 Agito would be too much for Gaolang, period.

Probably recovering from surgery after learning the true ways of cheating from Hanafusa.

Maybe Brosnan or Craig, but not classic 007s

Did Daniel Craig Bond even have a house?

>Agito was "serious" then, but with a way worse fighting style.
Are you talking about his copycat or formless style?

>Sen got fucked hard because his strategy relied on exploiting his opponent's mistakes
The point of going for a fixed form was to increase the speed at which Agito could react, user. Formless, while allowing Agito to exploit the flaws in his opponents' forms, would be unable to keep up with the speed of a master (And Gaolang, aside from being incredibly skilled, was also known for having the fastest punch).

Yeah, tuck your chin in during a Styles Clash Koga, see how fake it is then.

Well yeah. Did you miss Skyfall?

Yes, it's that time of the week! It's Kengan Time!

Who would teach Ryuki discipline? I don't remember any of the fighters they stay in regular contact with being particularly known for it and the one who is (Gensai), as we all know, doesn't take students.

I missed Skyfall. I only ever saw Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace. What happened in Skyfall?

>who is hassad

He's gotta get smaller, but bigger.
#FullGearChallenge

Bond takes M to his ancestral mansion in Scotland, among other things.

>Gensai doesn't take students
Only in theory

Kaneda was introduced Kenny's goofy friend who owned people playing Shogi and he beat up a full time fighter.

I’m calling it here. Koga is going to learn how to tank hits so he can last in fights longer to make use of his eyes that will be honed by Kaneda

The "no defense wrestling" shit is stupid

>Koga, you are not my student. But you are free to watch me beat up Rihito who is also not my student.

Hahaha

He needs to be able to actually take people down first, he didn't get a single solid hit in on Ryuki or Kokuro.

I'm so glad he's here.

>reddit ashura

No more stupid then any other form of training in this manga.
>dude lmao just break your fingers a billion times and you'll be able to pierce concrete, you won't cripple and deform them or anything
>dude lmao just do a spinny palm strike into a jar of water a billion time and you'll be able to turn people into pretzels
>dude lmao just starve yourself near death and then meditate until you get super autism and become The Flash

>kick karate fighter
>he used karate's middle guard to block the hit
>kick a pro wrestler
>he moved the targeted area to his left pec which bruised him but broke your foot and allowed him to grab your leg

I'm not talking about realism or something
I just personally don't like it and think it is stupid

That's your opinion but there is a basis to it that makes sense but of course it's not realistic.

Well that's just you m8. I like it a lot. It's manly as fuck and Seki's an awesome character. It's also a good spin on the ''defensive specialist'' fighter type. It's also not overpowered. Agito is basically able to do the same thing except it's just a perk, whereas with Seki it's his entire gimmick.

Dunno senpai characters don't seem human, like the recent nigga had goat eyes

Remember to hit your kid in the face with a sledgehammer to build up his bone strength.

>characters don't seem human
The Deva King in the first chapter broke through a wall with his kick, and he's one of the biggest jobbers in the manga.

yeah but this one is fucking great

It's not that hard. In wrestling "jobbing" is intended as losing ON PURPOSE to make the winner look stronger; in Kengan Asura it's not like that because Himuro lost fair and square due to difference in combat abilities, no fixed match

Absolutely based.

Ok so asmongold or forsen?

yeah but he had steel toed shoes so it's okay

>Naruto eyes

Lets say Ohma retired in the semi finals and Gensai was taken out by the dragon shot.
How does Wakatsuki vs Fang go down?

Thank's for the dump

Naruto didn't invent goat milk. But the further manga got, the fatter characters would become. Remember those fattening ropes on Eight-headed-Serpent-maru and Susooke Oochihuh?

this guy is a fighter and his special ability is having 270º vision

>How does Wakatsuki vs Fang go down?
2 blast cores

Guys... How much has our guy yamashita leveled up? He currently has 4 confirmed and more to confirm fighters at his beck and call ready to do any favors for him. He is also the only line between big corporations and fighters.
I actually he's the one who leaked the kengan data so he could fuse both associations.

Wakatsuki gets manhandled because his trump card already been used and Fang will outplay him hard.

>Guys... How much has our guy yamashita leveled up?
Magenkyo Fist Eyes , esp after losing Ohma

He´s a extremely competent individual afterall.

did he cum on that girl's face

>Sex after 15 years
h-haha what a long time haha

He's gone from level 1 to level 4 with the level cap being 100.

Can anyone in Worm beat Kuroki Gensai?

He's clearly competent at measuring talent but he's not a good enough of a businessman to set that kind of thing up. If anyone did it I'd say Nogi or Toyo. Maybe even Metsudo, he did say he wanted someone to play with.

Attached: 1553171876485.png (251x114, 39K)

Koga needs to learn how to apply his power. I'm sure he's at least muscle-wise on paper on par or stronger than Kaneda or Cosmo but those guys know how to apply their actual physical strength into strikes that will actually knock people out

>Maybe even Metsudo
>Maybe

Evil Niko could probably put up a good fight. Kuroki was saying during his fight with Ohma that he wished they could have fought when Ohma was at his best so assuming Evil Niko is at least as skilled Ohma/Niko he could have a chance.

Fang breaks his other ankle.

>Explained in the previous chapter Kengan fighters who kill get themselves and the company they work for banned
>Himuro immediately threatens to kill a Kengan fighter

Is Himuro retarded?

If Himuro acts on his own only he would be banned and only for a year. Himuro would not be bothered at all.

The exact words were
>Any corporation that causes a fighter to die will be banned from the Kengan Matches for up to a year
So Himuro actually CAN kill Ryuki without consequence to Kenny or to himself as the rules don't prohibit the fighters from killing people (that's pretty much the issue of the law already anyway; plus, it'd be weird to ban them from killing, since some fighters also work as assassins for a living), only the corporations from causing the death of a fighter.

Wait... Oh shit. I figured the loop hole. Trading Co isn't part of the organisation. In this case yamashita would be the cause of death cos he invited himuro. But because he ain't part of kengan then he wouldn't be banned anyways. Chadashita is best bloke.

This so fucking great

A Kengan fighter who gets banned gets his company banned at the same time. He is now a liability that other companies would not want (I imagine a Kengan company being banned for a year is a massive loss of money)

Wouldn't that mean Yamashita's own company be banned for a year? He hired Himuro to train those two.

addendum: looked up the last chapter, Yamashita isn't technically part of the Kengan Association but then again Nogi said 'any company responsible' so its all legalese

based shadow

>Wouldn't that mean Yamashita's own company be banned for a year? He hired Himuro to train those two.
Well, in the first place, Yamashita Co. isn't even a Kengan Association member. They're a branch of the Kengan Association itself. Banning them from Kengan Matches does nothing since they don't participate in them at all; they're simply a relay between corporations and fighters for establishing contracts.

And as for whether or not a Kengan fighter gets banned, isn't that up to Yamashita Co. itself as the organization that oversees the eligibility of the fighters' participation in the Kengan Matches?

As said, yamashita is not part of the association. Also keep in mind it would be hella easy to get koga and blonde to not say anything at all. So no one would know.

GAHAHAHA MUGIWARA

Ah i see we are going the Antonio Inoki road. I hope that the manga wont become to wrestling focused.

Did they say that Yamashita Trading Co is the only agency that recommends fighters? It's hard to believe that such a small 3 person agency holds a massive power hold over Kengan fighters and companies. You'd think that any of the other major billion/trillion yen companies would try and lean on them.

YOU'VEGOTTAEATALLTHESTEROIDSKID!!

I think i will never understand people that dont love training montages. Best kind of progession for a character in general

his toranoana side job

>You'd think that any of the other major billion/trillion yen companies would try and lean on them.
That's the same as trying to put pressure on the Kengan Association itself? Like has been stated, Yamashita Co. does not profit at all from the Kengan Matches nor from hooking corps with their fighters. They're paid directly by the Kengan Association itself. How the heck are you supposed to be able to pressure them? The only option is to try and bribe them under the tables. And you've seen Kazzy.

It's supposed to show nature of character, people with all the money and influence in the world handed to them fail plenty of times while people with nothing also succeed. It's to demonstrate that they do have influence and background yes, but they made to sure to gain experience and re-earn their privilege showing they weren't completely silver spooned and they're a cut above others even within the world of the elite. Life isn't just what you're born with, strength of character and bootstraps do take you far, my entire family tree came from nothing, had a single parent and became rich as all hell and then their kids had a similar situation to the manga cliche where the parents cut them cold turkey to make their own wealth and they did the same. Likewise I have friends who were also born rich or even to celebs and 80% of them are washouts who snorted too much cocaine and fail every enterprise they hit.

I hope we see the Strongest Man in the Himalayas next chapter.

I expected this one. Thank you!

Koga is going the get his ass kicked by Haruo (Sin- Switch) next chapter, can't wait!

Bc his wrestling is more the Kazushi Sakuraba-catch style, not like the script-only wrestle mania

Attached: ezgif-1-30e237a48979.gif (250x250, 3.64M)

Maybe this time he won't run into the fight with "VIDEO GAMES" as his war cry.

Attached: Revolver Ocelot03.jpg (1280x720, 163K)

He has been training under Seki during the timeskip, so he should be badass again.

I know i am the only one but i like Kogas fashion sense. Its either ludicrously dumb like the python suit or really neat like the tiger jacket he wears now, which reminds me of Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue.

HE LOVES TO RELOAD DURING THE BATTLE

Kek

>That's the same as trying to put pressure on the Kengan Association itself?

But Yamashita Trading Co isn't part of the Kengan Association. We've also seen that these corporations aren't above using espionage or assassinations to get what they want, big corporations have all sorts of legal and illegal methods of pressuring smaller corporations.

This is gonna be so much fun. Also, thank you.

I know this is sounds ridiculous but everything you mentioned is mostly realistic (ok not really the flash thing). Okinawan karate guys do hit their fingers into a pole until they break and rakshasas palm is heavily inspired by the shaolin water jar training.

Yamashita Co. is "an agency of the Kengan Association." It's a department of the Kengan Association itself.

Also, you seem to have forgotten what the Kengan Matches are for? DO remember why, exactly, corporations don't do (or rather, aren't supposed to do) stuff like that. The last guy who tried something like that, a certain scarred guy whose fighters all lost in their first actual fights, was imprisoned and obviously had their membership expelled.

im still butthurt that he lost in a grappling match against ohma
fucking bullshit

t. Adam

>Why do people like Seki.

You tell me.

Attached: 22.jpg (1590x1123, 526K)

And dare risk angering kazzy?

And they wouldn´t want that now, would they.

Attached: 1546955783193.png (460x660, 197K)

I want cosmo to sit on my face and choke me to death with his big meaty thighs

(checked)
Seki is the patron saint of pro wrestling, when he fights it's pure hype.

Attached: KA_80_Seki_Defensepng.png (1133x1599, 747K)

He was relying too much on foresight and Ohma brought out a move he'd never seen before.

No it isn't. He's not even top 20, not is he the youngest by a large margin, yet he got by on massive asspulls and author fellatio. Also how is it bullshit that some grappling kid lost to an elite master of a strong martial art?
>hurr grappling is his forte
Yeah well he had no problem striking with either Ohma or Akoya, both of whom are striking specialists and stronger in stats.

You should watch Skyfall it's pretty dope

Skip "Spectre" tho

Lol at that smirk

4 SCOOPS

Attached: 11.png (960x1361, 403K)

The architect would not have problems with it.

From what i have seen, Cosmo looks like a 5th degree Black belt in BJJ, which is pretty close to a master of the art

This *THIS* had more influence on him in 2 years than you might believe?

Attached: kureishi.png (880x658, 297K)

I know this pain all too well

Not really the problem. His foresight was a combination of both reaction time and prediction. His defeat was simply a result of Ohma being able to predict further than him. It's the same reasoning as the initial exchange between Agito and Gensai where they kept exchanging moves; the crux of that engagement was who could predict farther than the opponent.

The point of enrolling him in the tournament was so that he could gain experience and improve. Ohma, on the other hand, is already a master himself. His handicap was his sealed memories that had him fighting at sub-optimal capacity, which also led to him accruing more damage than he would have had all his memories been unlocked from the start. That's actually the same reason why he overused Advance so much, since he wouldn't have needed it had his memories all been there.

Fist of the Seeker had some serious competition, among them Sen's Ninja cousin, Cosmo's master, Seki's kouhai/trainer, the Strongest Mongoloid who had ridiculous strength and a guy who fought nearly on par with him, an Okinawan Karate user who could stab with gis fingers, a Nak Muai who was a proto Kure with Removal to complete it, and Narushima Joji. Oh, and several Karate users were from Rokushin Kaikan school, like Wakatsuki.
Now that Seki is here, connection between Koga and Joji may be possibly revealed.

Sandrovich had a webcomic called fist of the seeker before Kengan set in the same universe where this tournament was a big storyline. The one who beat Seki's master was the main character who also beat Cosmos master, so I'd say they are actually very similar in strength.

Rei's legs have bones for sprinting, no longer typically straight like most people would have, so he was fast also due to that.

36 eggs a day, motherfucker
EVERY DAY

I was under the impression that it was pretty much just a normal public tournament. Didn't know that it was actually attended by some real badasses.

This mansion is ridiculously huge, I love it

>Marvels' "March of Thanos"

Attached: thanos.jpg (1200x800, 198K)

Cool, he's still physically inferior to Ohma and about 10 years his junior. The experience factor alone should have been enough.

Oh there where certainly a lot of badasses just as said.
Some of the top guys there would probably do fairly well in the Kengan tournament even.

>healthy peak Ohma would have fucking breezed to the finals
It's not fair bros.

Attached: tears vegeta.gif (500x321, 2.05M)

Cosmo's master lost to proto Kure Nak Muay, who gave him that scar with elbow attack.

Explains easily really why Seki already is back in the story, Sandrovich wants to bring in a little exposition on Koga by having Seki bring up Joji and see if he´s like the guy.

Started Kengan Ashura today, can't wait to join you bros

Where're you getting all that from? From what I've seen it only listed a few fighting styles they used and some silhouettes.

Yeah but Narushima and Cosmo's master fought earlier in the manga. It wasn't an all out fight, but Narushima had the upper hand if I don't remember wrong.

Awwww yeah

See

He would have demonsbaned Raian´s ass

Enjoy it, it´s a wild ride.

Attached: 1544103634372.png (350x293, 115K)

Koga already shown using similar Full Contact Karate to the one of Wakatsuki. Now that I think of it, Joji had some serious reaction skill and good eye, as he was blind on the other, after some animal blinded him.

Awwww yeah

I read rest of the series raw, on Sandrovich's site, but you'd need to find link in one of first Kengan Omega threads, as my HDD died on me.

Narushima Joji was one of Rokushin Three, not the titular Seeker.

My nigga

Welcome, and have fun in this wild ride. Consider checking archived threads.

You're right I'm dumb. I meant ikeuchi

Really?

He got goat eyes.

Bulking isn't easy

How does having 6 cameras on the same square meter help in any way?

Same reason having more than one eye helps.

So what is his current powerlevel?
How does he fair in the universe right now?
How bad will he job once he reappears?

He'd get distracted by fattening up the Mistress of the place

>no one has made a comment about the painting by a man named Marvels called "The March of Thanos"

Yeah, Raian wouldn't have been a challenge. Raian as he was then, anyway, with his refusal to even bring out his techniques.

Oops, didn't refresh.

Nice.

Is nobody bothered by the horrible CGI in this chapter? It isn't Inuyashiki-level, but it's pretty damn bad.

Exactly. It's something ALL bodybuilder, weightlifters, strength sports athletes...you have to eat. You have to eat a lot. You have to eat all the time, ESPECIALLY when you aren't even hungry. And it's gotta be filling, it's gotta have all the building blocks you need and it has to give you energy. Otherwise, all your work is pointless.

They all agree, eating is the hardest part of their lives.

Can someone explain to me just what exactly Agito did with his fingers here? This time and his fight against Gensai, he does this same pose with his hand, but I'm not sure what exactly he did.

Attached: Kengan Asura_v24c205p079.png (847x1200, 1.26M)

He will be still training and still trying to improve himself, but he will hit the wall of aging that will have him possibly lose or keep from improving.

Omega already had about ol' speed-toe beating some of the veteran fighters, so this series will definitely a lot about young blood challenging the old and old-school.

Probably a hard palm strike or a grasp

Didn't even notice. Could you point out some examples?

Yeah, Ikeuchi definitely had advantage there. I'd say that favourable matchups matters a lot, facing a natural enemy is the worst possibility.
I'd still say Sen would beat Agito if not for Oromi's intervention about making Agito use Martial Arts in place of Formless. On the other hand, Martial Arts Agito would be at disadvantage against Wakatsuki.
Anyway, Sen's problem came not from Agito's definite superiority, but because Sen had no idea Agito can do such a move like Dragon Punch and as such he did not anticipated it in the slightest. Lack of knowledge can decide a match.

Pay your dues, take a bump

>some of the veteran fighters
Some shitter who lost to a first round loser in a single hit and an injured dude with a boner for losing.

Murobuchi wasn't in Peak Condition, as Kokuro thought he'd lose otherwise. Murobuchi was healing from recent injury, likely after fighting Wakatsuki again.

Look more closely at the bottom panel of , the fourth panel of , and the bases of the staircases in the bottom panel of . That's the worst of it.

pro wreslting is fun

Next page said it was a Jiu Jitsu finger hold, which I completely forgot about. Guess my impression of that hand was so strong that it overshadowed the apparent explanation for what it was he actually did.

So, is Koga going to be a vanilla midget?

Yeah, it really is rather noticeable now that it's been pointed out. Didn't focus on the scenery at all since I was too preoccupied with the dialogue.

pretty insignificant to really be bothered by it, alot of manga are starting to use cgi for shortcuts like that

Nice

I miss the daily Kengan thread so much.

The proliferation of the practice doesn't mean that it should be accepted or overlooked. Manga is about art.

4 kata styles? Come on bruh.

I want inaba and cosmo to fight.

God Seki is so unbelievably based
Muteba vs Seki remains a top tier fight even after finals

Even if wrestling is scripted the damage they receive is pretty real. One of the reasons the injury rate is so big in the industry.

Yup, i felt the same

Attached: manOfculture2.gif (460x258, 1.25M)

Nah the japanese pro wrestling is pretty close to real fights

There's no doubt about it, but is not like american wrestlers don't know how to fight. Brock Lesnar had a background as a wrestler and mma fighter. Or monsters like Andre the giant.

someone give him the Cock hat

At least he ain't Benoit

You don't know terrible CGI till you start reading korean/chinese manga.
My god, the lengths they will go just to avoid drawing is insane. One korean manga I read 3d'd some generic gravestones. Some mother fucking gravestones, you never even see them again. It would've been faster to draw them in paint than it would've been to open fucking blender/maya/3ds max.

>Benoit
fuck that fucker and fuck him he's the reason why WWE went PG. I want him to khs another time.

Koga's owned count is going to reach a whole new dimension

They might put on a show, but most of those guys are still massive.

Wouldn´t be the first youngster Seki beats into shape.

If Vince actually gave a shit about Benoit he would tone down the retarded 350 days/year schedule, not hurr durr chair shots. Those were because of TV deals and Haitch unable to get sons

Time to leave humanity behind

Shut up Tigerman, you arent the real Tokita Niko
