The only redeemable qualities are the first episode and the banging as fuck OP. Overall it is a boring anime that does absolutely nothing most of the time and increasingly uses 3DCG hallway walking scene bullshit that reminds me of old school first person shooters. Disappointment of the season.

It's not bad, but it's not amazing either. The characters are interesting, but if you're not really into dialogue and enjoy the characters you'll probably get bored quick.

I know mangafags complain that they cut too much as is. I say not enough, I think they should've started to escape the farm by episode 6-7, 9 at worst.

Mangafag here, we don't really complain that it's rushed pacing wise, as they followed mostly the exact same scenes, but that they completely took out ALL internal monologue in a series that's chockfull of it, effectively hollowing out the scenes.
The visual direction is also a big problem.

Anime cuts out some flashbacks and almost all internal dialogue so in the anime the characters are standing around in silence in parts that their thoughts should be shown
