animation.
yep, that's about it.
the goal of the show was to have fun and try new things, and it did that
Meows dad episode was fucking kino. Also the one where dandy and that red hair girl fall for each other was great too
It wàs very dandy except that time Scarlet didn't end up together with him
Dandy is for Honey
Releasing the dub first so hard weebs couldn't act like they were superior for following the "true writing."
Dandy's lewd body
I don't know. Things? Lot's of things? And stuff! Plenty of stuff!
The acid trip the writers were on
Even the worst episodes were still pretty darn good if you ask me. I think this show is just awesome, in just about every regard. What a fun and creative project.
They dreamed about making a show about a dandy guy in space.
And they succeeded.
better than champloo, nearly equal to bebop
I was amazed no one noticed the Cowboy Bebop episode reference from In the Attic episode. Like no one knew the Fridge meow found on the junk planet was the same fridge from the Bebop.
>better than champloo
It was kind of like an anthology series to let artists cut loose and it was imbued with those good vibes. It was funny, beautiful and could even be touching.
that ending credits was just so damn comfy was like I was watching adult swim for the first time.

This. Everything directed by Shinichiro Watanabe has such good music. This guy knows how to integrate music into his projects really well.
a titty restaurant somehow focused on ass
Zombie Dandy
The comedy stayed great most of the time and it worked wonders as a collaboration meant to show off several directors' styles. They emphasized their differences while still building a cohesive whole and identity.
Everyone did OP; it's been five years since that episode first aired. Time can fly.
