Last time, Kanade and Shouko took part in rehearsals for the Grand Defile which seemed to be frustrating for the coordinator. Takimoto offered to take Akito to go see a play on Broadway but Akito initially demured because he's basically all work and no play, however Shouko convinced him by telling him it was the chance to see the best in their craft right in their own home though in the end Takimoto wasn't able to secure tickets at the time they needed. Kanade took auditions the next day and seemed to catch the Royal Ballet's attention.
While hanging out with Chloe and Maho she realized #117 was there and informed her she was in the wrong group. After a freakout she ran off and Kanade made note that she seemed injured. When asking her about it later the girl told her to keep quiet because if anyone, especially her teacher, found out that'd be it for her competition... of course she said this while practically yelling it in front of everyone else. But Kanade sympathized noting that were she in the same situation she'd likely have the same attitude.
Looks like Kanade (and probably some others) caught some more eyes. Wonder where these guys are from? It'd have to be an English speaking country since it'd be a foreign language otherwise.
I like acknowleding that Kanade has gotten better in English instead of it just being a thing. She's had, what, a year and change to really study it seriously?
Poor Kanade but she's right, it is pretty conceited to think she was the only potential candidate Abby had in mind. But it's understandable considering Abby and Takimoto are personal long time friends and all.
