I don't understand this. It doesn't make sense. This seems to imply that after the initial reflection, Accelerator's defense is open, but that clearly contradicts what he's shown so far since his reflection doesn't work on a time-lag. If this was true, Kakine wouldn't have had to bother using the filter-strategy and he could've just kept harmful rays on him in general the entire fight, because even if Accel reflected the rays the moment it touched him, there'd be lag between it to let some seep in.
It doesn't make sense with how it works because:
A: It goes against the principle of vectors. Now for the sake of argument if Accel did have a magnitude limit, he would be dead right now for a kick to exceed that. He still has normal human durability beneath, so a kick that could exceed his limit would absolutely kill him. But he's not even super injured. So that rules out pure power.
B: Speed is also not a factor as the initial reflection still happened, so it didn't necessarily 'break' through nor abuse a gap lapse.
C: Accelerator is capable of reflecting soundwaves, UV light, constant heat on his body in the middle of a dust explosion. Logically this means those forces are on him CONSTANTLY, so if his reflection had time-lags, he would've still been burned alive in the dust explosion or had light penetrate him.
So what the fuck is this Kamachi? I guess he just needed to get him out of the way so he said 'fuck how his ability works'? Maybe it's because Magic Gods bodies have unknown properties to him similar to when he encountered Aiwass so the reflection didn't work particularly as it should? Maybe it's more so she somehow rebounded him? Maybe Shiageluck is so strong it told Accel's ability to 'fuck off' for that moment.

I wouldn't call it bad but the writing feels like a step down from NT20/21. The random fights would be funner if they weren't' as short and the non accelerator ones didn't keep getting skipped. I would have rather seen new magic stuff than Accel reflecting stuff again. A lot of plot convenience thrown around. The hypest thing is new revelations being thrown out.

Random fights would imply that there are no reason to the sequences taking place, the fights are used for build-ups to the final chapter of the volume so they aren't random for intent. I mean I guess the Magic God ones are the closest, but Nephthys seems to be done for Accel to get stronger and to help him less-so than Niang-niang is a cunt.

Coronzon might have felt better if she wasn't absent for the entire arc. Not to mention Lola not really doing a lot to aleister before this, honestly Lola seemed like a better antagonist for the Anglicans/touma. She has used Index like a tool on several occasions and obviously did underhanded things. Hell I don't think she cares a lot about Aleister beyond what the contract forced her to do. As far being menacing, coronzon lost out when she kept getting outwitted and trapped.. Her hair angels are complete jobbers that seemingly any name character can destroy. Her big magic that blasted through IB got easily stopped by accelerator in the next scene. Coronzon has never really been allowed to do menacing stuff for long.

What was with those anons claiming that 545 isn't helping with his calculations a few threads ago? There is no fucking way he would get that good from 545 just telling him their name and magic style. Not to mention she has stuck close to him and every fight and he seemed to be connected to her when Neph boosted her powers. Accel is too overprotective to have her out in harms way for no reason and she hasn't been giving him mid fight advice. Plus we have spoilers that she helps with earth level spear alongside WILL.

It doesn't make sense for her to boost his calculations. His ability to grow is based on the amount of knowledge he intakes. They're bound by a contract but that doesn't mean she's boosting his reflection since AIM doesn't work that way. If he was taking Magic into his body and having that boost his powers he'd self-destruct. That's why. Also, he wasn't trying to break through Mirates armor. He was using him as a stress-toy and a bench-test.

Also to add to this, Mathers had grimoire physiology fuckery akin to Mina so go figure why it went through.

I knew from the start Railgun s3 would be better. Anime originals now and in the past dealing with any anime have been better than adaptations. There’s bad originals but there’s bad adaptations as well. The thing is a good original will always be better than a good adaptation.

The whole point was, the reason that Accel couldn't touch Mathers in that particular moment was because Mathers was an indestructible grimoire. Accel still manaed to punch him through several gravestones though and managed to damage him by redirecting the orbital laser at Mathers and making it twice as strong. I am massively disappointed to. I don't think Kamachi quite knows what to do with Misaka. It kind of feels like she shouldn't be in this arc. I'm hoping that Kamachi does something with her troubles regarding the AAA and how it was used against her Will twice and taken over once by Coronzon. However, after NT 15 where that story went nowhere, I expect this one to go nowhere as well. The conclusion will be that the AAA suddenly is fine again and everything that happened in this volume is forgotten about.

Index had a huge head start to sell bds so when the ones from Railgun barely came out it’s jo surprise Index had sold more Railgun surpassed it a long time ago.

After what happened after NT 15, I have my doubts this will be the case. It seems Kamachi sets up good possible story arcs for Misaka but doesn't know how to properly get it going or go about it. I can see this being the case of he sets up a possible conflict between Misaka and the AAA but in the next volume or the one after that, everything is back to normal without it even being fixed or touched upon beforehand.

Mikoto and by extension Misaki are only in this arc because of the AAA.

I think she should have been in this arc, but she should have been handled way differently. Seems like this arc developed Accelerator more, and while that's not a bad thing, he's not the one who's had a storyline built up over several volumes only to fizzle out.

I worded that wrong. It's not that she shouldn't be there but it feels that she doesn't entirely belong there, well maybe that's not right either. Maybe it's more she's out of her depth. She's barely in the game and is just hanging on by a thread due to AAA. Accelerator is a MC so that's not surprising and this is just a countination of his development that has been present since near the beginning. The thing is Accelerator getting development doesn't stop Misaka getting development but all of Misaka's parts that she's in except snippets haven't really been about her character or her inner conflict; except as I said, the snippets with the AAA.

I might be wrong on this part but it seems that Will lends Q-Chan the optimal force and authority over to her who empowers Accel as a transcendent life force who controls and defines the tree. That's all I've been able to digest so far. Pretty good purchase, it combines an explanation of the terms before the actual translation of Crowley's writing, and after that it shows the original hand-writing which is almost impossible for me to read. Only cost me 20$.

It's already explained in NT22. Coronzon can't be killed nor truly fucked with because she lives outside the toolbox, and all Aeons are part of the toolbox itself. Accelerator having Access to a Tree and influencing his powers means he now exists outside that tool box too and can effectively fuck with anything on the table while being safely outside it from harm. If new wings does act similar to Aiwass/Coronzon at least.

I don't think that's how that works. Coronzon has access to the whole thing and Q-chan comes from the inverse tree but can be popped like a zit. Even Aleister made all the way to just before the top 3 and is still within the toolbox.

In the end, I don't see Touma having as many similarities with Hadit as people claim. It's easy to say it because 'Kamikoto' and the one exert of 'exorcist', but I feel like it's more likely that he is the Ra-Hoor, as Aiwass is described as he's 'minister'. And we all know Aiwass seems to have a hard-on for Touma, and his plan seems to be needed for him so much that he's willing to wait 10000 years for another Touma to show up.
