There are a few. New intro showing off a bit from the newer chapters about how the Abyss and Orth were found, to Lyza and Ozen's bell expedition.
There's also a whole bunch of smaller scenes added in between that are either entirely new or extended cuts from the show.

As far as semi-recent anime releases, my local theater sold out the Boku no Hero and Broly movies in advance, and even Perfect Blue was pretty packed. But there were only like, 5 other people there for this.

Overall I thought the new segments were good and, for a movie, it had good cuts and focus. nearly went at the autistic ass pace that people were expecting we'd go at during the early weeks on here(getting to bondrewd in 12 eps)

My theater also had the wrong movie poster, and the lights didn't go out until I bugged a staffer halfway through the intro.
I would guess 1.85:1 since most movies are either 2.40:1 (which would fill the full width) or 1.85:1 (which is tens of pixels wider than 16:9).
But maybe they did deliver it in 16:9, idk.

So how many of us actually had a good screening? Some retards kept commentating on everything at mine, but a group of 6-7 niggas in the back told everyone to shut it and everything turned out nicely after that.
