Naegi barely had any romantic chemistry with Hina; certainly not as much as he had with Kirigiri. Regardless, the romance is inconsequential to me. I was more talking about how the show plays with expectations. The fact that they psyche you out with Hina's death early on makes Kirigiri's psyche out far less impactful. If Hina had died, or had they just not done the psyche out at all, Kirigiri's struggle would have been much more dramatic. As is, it was obvious she'd live, because they had already proved that they didn't have the guts to kill a DR1 character.
