I actually found that movie through its soundtrack recently since I was checking out the artist that made it
Looks really fucking cool but the show is legit in slow motion. The first twenty minutes are just 3 scenes with a 10 second pause between every 2 lines of dialogue. I have no clue why they stretched this so hard considering its a 2 hour movie for kids

I think the episode was just an internal monologue over her complicated feelings towards Casshern and the "faceless dark-skinned guy" was suppossed to be a metaphor for sexually defiling yourself. Questionable direction aside it definitely wasn't meant as "she looks like she fucks black guys"

Sexuality is pretty much non-existent in the anime up to that point, and then suddenly there's this sort of dream episode where she goes from the sci-fi wastelands of the series to the real world Bronx or something and fucks a black man.
